Hello updating from my last introduction..

Hello everyone! I am from PA and just adopted a 5 year old beagle/australian shepherd mix, we are expecting her tomorrow and her name is Delana. Her family members will now be me, my hubby and our 7 and 2 year old daughters . We are so excited to meet Delana, I will try to post the pic of her that is from where she is residing at the moment and hopefully it works!

When I last introduced myself I hadn't gotten my dog yet, we adopted her from South Carolina and she was transported here to PA. She is a 5 year old (estimated) beagle/australian shepherd mix and besides needing a dental she is really healthy. We put her on Blue Buffalo food and as soon as we get her teeth back in shape we are going to make sure they stay that way. She is an amazing dog who is extremely smart and loves to please, she knows how to sit, shake with each paw, high five, lay down, play dead, and stay. As a puppy she was abused and has some fear towards men and certain other people, but she is already starting to show progress .

Without going back and looking through this section, it might have been easier for those of us following our story to make the necessary connections had you "Bumped" your previous thread. You can always alter the title of the thread as the OP.

Thank you everyone and I apologize, I have to learn my way around here still . But yes her name is Delana which is German for "Protector" which she is very much a protector of us, mostly me but she makes her rounds through the house at night and checks in on the kids too .

Nylah is beautiful! So happy to see someone here with the same mix , I love Delana so much and I too hope she has many years with us, as we don't know for sure how old she is. She seems very healthy, happy and lots of life besides her teeth right now.

Delana is beautiful! Lori, she is similar to Nyla, who is also an angel.
