The puppy is adorable. At this age and stage, it is virtually impossible to guess Breed mixes as so many things will change within the first six months. Do you have any idea about the Dam (Mum) or Sire (Dad)?

How did you find this sweet puppy?

I wish to give you a tip for posting photos in the Forums. Try using "Photobucket". It is a free Photo hosting site, and also allows one to easily attach a link to emails, as well as "message boards" such as this. Many of us use it, and it's also good for videos, as is YouTube.

Welcome to the Daily Puppy, and I am sure you are very excited about your impending new arrival. Have you selected a name?

If this is your first puppy, or you haven't had one in a really long time, there are also some really good training threads in the Behaviour Section and since you are puppy-less at the moment, and therefore have more free time than you will for the next year, may I suggest you read as many, and as much of the information posted in there as possible (especially the stickies, with the "light bulb" type icon).

Hi and welcome to the DP!

I think your pup is a puggle or pitbull shepard mix but idk. :|

For info on raising a pup. For me being prepared to care, raise, and nurture the pup was my main priority. Researching all breeds to know which fitted me best according, to my lifestyle. When i got my first rescued pup i had already prepared a crate, toys, bowls, food, leash, collar, etc. all ahead of time before actually searching for a pup. Took him home and started with the naming and teaching my pup his name. Took about a month to learn his name successfully. During that month, I taught him basic commands, housebreaking by using a crate. Introducing him to Rules of the household, letting him know who is alpha, leash walking, grooming, and Especially Socialization :P since the puppy era is the most crucial period.

I left out a lot but, if you have any questions fell free to ask.
Almost forgot SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS! Its critical for a pup to have their shots and vaccines since it really is crazy how Parvo-Virus can ruin you and your pups life.

and the internet is a great a source. DP for example

There is a great deal of information available regarding the Training of Pups in the appropriate section, but I still wish to caution you on obtaining all of your information from the Internet. While it is a wonderful tool, books as well as talking to "people in the know" are also a great resource.

It is very sweet of "cnguyen209" to offer you advice as a new puppy parent, several of us have been dog owners and lovers for years and years, with experience with many Breeds and Mixes. The basics are all the same.

It is impossible to tell what mixes your pup may have at this stage. Markings change considerably in the first year of life, as does stature. Encourage the basics, such as housetraining and general commands (drop it is a good one for many reasons, and far more important than sit IMHO).

You have not answered any of my previous questions, so I'll not offer any further advice.
