Re-Introducing Sookie! We're back :)

Hi everyone!!

I'm not totally new to the website or forums, but I've been on a bit of a hiatus! I dropped off the forum about a year ago, because a lot of stuff happened really fast! I was student teaching, my boyfriend (at the time) and I got engaged (so now he's the fiancé!), AND I was planning a trip to Europe and looking for a job! Ah! Hi, old friends

Well, we're getting married in less than two months (July 14th), I have secured tenure track employment for next year at a fantastic school, and things are starting to slow down a bit. I've missed everyone here and hope this message finds you well. Sookiegirl is the same goofy puppy (picture included, with that sassy face), and though I've been campaigning to have her as part of the wedding party, my parents are still holding out against it. There's still time, though.

I actually messaged Kian just a few days ago (hi again, Kian!) because I'm thinking about training as a summer and after school job. Some teachers tutor, but I figure if I can teach + have lots of puppies around it might be an ideal situation for me. Kian had wonderful advice to offer, but if there's anyone else out there with words of wisdom I'd love to hear them.

I'll be popping into the other boards as well, but wanted to make my re-entry official over here

WELCOME HOME!!! It's so nice to have you back (and forgive me for forgetting your real first name ).

Congratulations on your engagement! How exciting. One of our other members just married, and they included their dog, Bailey as "Best Dog" in the Wedding Party. As is the case with most weddings, I realize that it is the Bride's Parents who ultimately bear the cost, so they do feel that they have a say. With that being said, it is YOUR day, so I think we should start a campaign to include Sookie. ♥ If you go to "Off-Topic" you will see Kristen Ohler's (nee Bowers) Wedding thread, and perhaps you can use those photos to your advantage when discussing this with your parents.

So many wonderful things have been happening for you. It's no wonder you haven't had time for the DP. We are so glad you are back. Oliver & Henry are still doing as well as ever, especially Oliver.

I'm sure you'll catch up on all the important news in due time.

Shari, sorry to go "off topic" a bit...of course I remember your name now, thanks to Kian.

After a second, briefer hiatus, we're back again With the wedding and the honeymoon and back to school planning, things have been busy, but I've been lurking and checking in on everyone! Sookie says hi as well and sends her love!
