Both of my sons enjoy Dr. Who, as do at least 2 other "regular" DP members, AND their children. I think "Sarah Jane (Smith)" is a lovely name and your reasons for selecting it are perfect.

It often takes any dog or pup, even grown up ones who move with their family, a couple of weeks to fully acclimate to new surroundings. Each day will become easier.

Three months, or 15 weeks, is a good age. Too many people bring home pups FAR too soon!

Hi Sam,
Congrats on your new puppy "Sarah" I think the name you picked is perfect Sam and Sarah hehe I love it and think its a great match I recently just got a puppy and know that naming is always a difficult task. However, when I first saw my lil girl I for some reason thought Lexi right away and it stuck. I've had one other dog which my mom has now and when I first got her it took almost a week of looking up names online and saying them out loud before I came to the decision of naming her Delyla. So I know all to well how hard it can be. I also wanted to say welcome to The Daily Puppy. I've found this site very helpful with questions, and training and overall anything related to my Lexi How are things going so far Raising a puppy can be challenging and exhausting but it is very rewarding.
