Angela and Lexi...Would like to say Hi =o)

Hi everyone,
My name is Angela Ollila I'm 28 years old and newly married to the most wonderful husband Jonathan Ollila We both grew up in Huntington Beach, California and knew each other while in High School. We were great friends Jonathan joined the Navy not long after High School and as he went through Training and Nuclear School then being stationed in Hawaii we would keep in touch now and then. In late 2009 he asked me to come for a visit. Well my visit turned into me living there and well falling in love While we lived there I begged and begged for a puppy for a companion since he was frequently underway for months at a time... I sadly didn't get one... We lived there til October 2011 and moved back to California and got married 11-22-11. Now we are in Gilbert, Arizona which was again hard for me to move since I am a very social person and love having friends.... Well I for a couple years now have been begging him for a puppy and for my birthday June 9th Jonathan surprised me with a trip to the county pound and there we selected Lexi She is an adorable thought to be Shepherd Mix. We love her so much and enjoy every single moment with her. My friends and family tell me Jonathan is a smart man to get us a puppy mainly because I for a couple years now have had baby fever and well now I have a wonderful, fun, curious, keeping me busy all day and night fury little baby

I stumbled on this site due to the many questions I had been google searching lol and find it very helpful. Its been many years since I have had a puppy so in a way it feels like she is my first. Though my first is never forgotten Delyla my peakapoo is living with my mom in California. She has adopted her as her own due to me moving all over and not being able to take her with me. Now, there is no way I can take her back since she keeps my mom company

What a cute couple! I wondered how one goes from Hawaii to Arizona, what a contrast. Your story is a wonderful one and now to add Lexi, a cute family indeed. It's great Jonathan served in the Navy, that is a great experience. I grew up North of San Diego, I was around a lot of Navy and Marines.

Thank you for the welcome Yeah Jonathan and I do kinda have a sweet love story and now we have Lexi adds another great story to our lives. I'm so happy I came across this site it is a great outlet for me to meet some new people and of course ask questions about my lil Lexi.

I currently dont work so Im home full-time with Lexi so I dont yet have any friends here in Arizona. So I do spend time on this site looking up many different posts and articles that is when Lexi isn't getting all puppy crazy haha I will for sure have to check out the idle chit-chat

Hi Angela and Lexi (and Jonathan)!

Lexi is such a little poppet....it's no wonder you fell in love with her immediately. Who could resist that sweet face?! I have seen a few of your posts, but I was away on vacation, so out of my "element". As Vanessa (Nezza) mentioned, we have made terrific friendships on this site, and there is always room for one more.

I'm sure Kian has been giving you excellent advice. She certainly knows of what she speaks, and is considered one of our "Resident Experts". We're lucky to have a few, but Kian is a constant. Moving around is hard, especially once one has established friendships, even with local shop keepers and perhaps a neighbour or two. We have a terrific group of people on this site, from all over the world, all with many different experiences.
