Hi from Balto and his mum Jo - new to the daily puppy

Hi everyone I have just created a profile for me and my 16 week old White German Shepherd Puppy. I am a first time dog owner, although I grew up with a Boxer dog and a German Shepherd bitch who were my best friends. We live in Wellington, New Zealand and we are currently in the last waiting period after Baltos 3rd vaccination so we have yet to get out and about to explore. We have been attending a Puppy pre-school class which enables us to socialise and learn basic manners. We are going to join a canine obedience club soon to take his training to the next level. I have joined this site to keep up to date with all things puppy and to pick up a few tips from other owners, look forward to speaking with you all

We're glad to have you with us. There is loads of useful information in the various topics on the Forum, especially tips on all things puppy. Even for those of us who have had dogs throughout our entire lives, we all need a refresher once in a while as we tend to forget some of the little things.

I am so pleased to hear that you are already taking Puppy Classes, and plan to go further with Obedience Training.

We have one other "regular" member on our Forums who adopted an all white GSD not too long ago. They are quite rare, but lovely, as is your Balto.
