Any ideas as to the breed/cross of my puppy

My puppy has been confirmed as being a male at 4 weeks old but the vet cant determine what cross/breed he is. any ideas. his picture is on my profile

Vixter, i saw your pic of Alvin and he certainly is cute. Couple questions...where did you get him from? He's very young to be taken from his mother. Do you know the parents? He looks like some sort of shepherd/mix.

No we dont know anything about his parents. he was an abandoned puppy that we took in. i have been doing some research and i agree that he could be some sort of shepard cross. i also agree that 4 weeks is very young to be away from his mother as well as ive read it should usually be 8 weeks. its all new to me and my partner so im trying to do as much research as possible to give him the right start in life

you're a good person for rescuing this little pup! It's hard to tell at such a young age what he may be crossed with, especially not knowing how big he may get. There really is no way to tell, other than he looks to be a shepherd mix of some sort. Either way, he's super cute and i'm sure you will get much love and enjoyment from your new edition. Would love to see some more pics, too :mrgreen:
