My beautiful Willie....taken too soon

So, another strange thing happened last night....

All the strange things i've posted about since Willie's passing...have happened around 3 to 4 AM.
To recap...i posted that his UTube tribute starting playing one night randomly at 3:30 AM...i had to get up and stop it from playing on my computer and the lid was down!

I also posted how my OH heard dog paws "clicking" on the floor one night...around the same time...and it wasn't Waffles because he was asleep on his chair in our room...

Also, heard a scratching at the back door once...again, same time...a few months ago...

No occurrences since then until last night...early this morning at 3:30 AM/4.
The OH woke up because he couldn't sleep and when he went into the living room, he says he heard an odd scratching at the back door...almost like someone wanted to come in. Yet there was no one there. He said he was actually scared. The OH NEVER EVER NEVER gets scared. For him to say this to me...is significant. He said he was pretty much frozen in place. Turned on all the lights in the house. And it stopped. He sat down on the couch and he said it started again. He was too scared to open the back door. He knew there was not a person back there. But he says, he didn't want to open the door.

Willie used to scratch at the door like that.

I don't know what that means...but it's very, very strange. And unexplainable. We have trash out back and upon looking this morning...was completely UN-disturbed. If it were a raccoon or cat, the bags would have been torn. Kinda creepy and eerie. I looked around this morning for any signs of a critter....and i couldn't find a thing....

Hi, I've just joined the site and I read your post and just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. What a beautiful dog. I lost my first Beagle Benji because he was poisoned on local public park and I know how it hurts

I lost my beautiful German Shepherd girl Mitzi on 25th Jan this year. Nothng sinister, she had cancer of the spleen but until she stopped eating I didnt know there was anything wrong, I put her slowing down due to old age (she was almost 12) but we lost her in 72 hours and despite having a gorgeous new puppy it still hurts. After Skye pup is in bed and husband in bed too I get this pain above my belly and under my ribs - my Mitzi pain and I still hurt so much

But I hear her claws on the landing and sometimes see her out of the corner of my eye, laid in the spare room keeping guard and I feel better knowing she will always be with me.

I pray one day the pain will be less for you but never be scared that Willie's still around, love is unbreakable

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Mitzi. I know how terrible the pain is. I still think of my Willie every single day...and i mean, EVERY single day. I know he is still with me and i do find that comforting and i can't wait to one day, be able to touch his beautiful fur again, to get one of his "hugs", to hear him "talking" again....

Mitzi is still with you, as well, and we should take solace in that...until the next time we meet our dear furry friends....

One year ago, today, my beautiful Willie was taken from me. I still think of him every single day. You might remember, this whole mess started with a baby pig. Yesterday, there were about 6 pigs on our property...rooting around. It was odd that they haven't been here since that year ago...and then they showed up...the day before the anniversary of Willie's death.
