GOOD-BYE

Sad day.........We had to put down my dog Sequoya. He was 13 & 1/2. Was a Malamute, Huskey/wolf. Very gentle, quite dog. Big boy. Very bad morning. I knew it was time. We kept putting it off. Somedays he was still jumping & flying around the house & backyard like he was a puppy. He is no longer in pain. He is with his daddy, Amaruq, running together in HEAVEN with GOD our FATHER. I will miss him so much. Our 2 year old Sable would pull him by his ear to bring him in the house, cause he couldn't hear anymore. I'm sure she will be lonely. We have wonderful memories of him. Thanks for listening.

Oh my. I understand far too well what you're going through at the moment. Be comforted knowing that you gave this beautiful animal such a loving home for so long. I will pray for your family and your Sable to draw close together and find strength in the happy memories of your time together. You did the right thing by not letting him suffer. I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy, no matter what the circumstances. I will remember you in my prayers that your heart is eased. Sable will help you as you help her. I wish I could give you a hug, Ozzie, but long distance hugs will have to do. I have a picture in my mind of the springtime fields just before the Rainbow Bridge. I see all my beloved dogs, cats, rabbits & birds there, young, healthy again, with their own particular sparkle in their eyes, just waiting for me to pick them up on my way past. It brings me great comfort. I hope you can find the same kind of comfort in your memories and visions of Sequoya. God Bless.

Thank you for showing me the Rainbow Bridge. And your prayers. And the long distance hug! Just hate going thru this again. We have done it several times. I believe we will see all our babies in HEAVEN. The Bible says JESUS will come back on a great stallion, so we know for sure there are horses in HEAVEN.
