yes that was in Ireland in the 1960's,...J F Kennedy was a very friendly man,..each day after we escorted him,..he made a point of speaking to all 36 of us,..when he was heading home to the USA,..he presented us with a gold tie pin,..of the PT Boat he was on during the war,...PT 109,...nice gesture,..i liked him.
I worked in the American Ambassador's residence in Dublin,..when Richard Nixon and Ronald Regan were there,...they were just ok,..nothing like JF.
