I think because they didn't want the movie to be to long. I mean this is the last book everything that happens in it is important.

I've read a book about a month ago or two, it's called Poison by Chris Wooding. I'm not sure if anyone would actually like it, but I'm picky with what I read and I enjoyed it. It's more of a fantasy book. It starts with a girl named Poison, she's I think 16 if I can remember straight, and her sister gets snatched by these fairies who in her sisters place leave behind some an un-human thing which she has to care for and feed if she wants to keep her actual sister alive. She has to go through an imaginary world of witches, fairies, phairie lords, etc...to get her back. She goes through all sorts of dangers...and the end is up to you to read ;) Haha

I'm reading a Patricia Cornwell at the moment and have just finished "The Echo" by Minette Walters. That was good.

I bought some Ian Rankin books at a second hand book sale on a friend's recommendation but I haven't started them yet.

I also love all the Harry Potter Books J.K Rowling is such a great author, after reading the books however I was quite disappointed by the movies especially the last one Harry Potter and the half blood prince.

My OH bought me all the Lord of the Rings books by J. R. R. Tolkien, last Christmas and I still haven't started reading them, I love to read, but I just don't have the time

Just this morning before I got up, I finished the last of the "Pendragon" books. They were great! I read a lot of children's literature, and can hardly wait for the last "Inheritance" book to be finished. I was so disappointed when Paolini stretched it out to four. I thought the third was the last, and was very excited to find out how the story ended! Only to get closer and closer to the end and realize, "There is NO way in hell he can wrap this up in a hundred pages!" *sigh*

"His Dark Materials" was an amazing series, as well. The movie (The Golden Compass) didn't do the books credit in the least. But I am thoroughly enjoying the Harry Potter movies, and think they have done a perfect job bringing the stories to life on the screen. I wish it didn't take so long to make a movies. Daniel Radcliffe will be 23 by the time he's playing a 17 year old Harry! Oh, well, I'm sure he'll do a fine job, as always...

I love to read haven't done much lately. I bought the twillight series for my grandaughter, so we could read them. Patrica Cornwell is good I have to many to list basicly anything but romance novels , they all end the same . I like a good mystery and I rather not now how it's going to end after reading a few pages. It's funny how we have a lot in common books, dogs and more . It's great.
