Chocolate Exchange!

Oh this is so much fun! I enjoyed it the first time I hosted a chocolate exchange from my yahoo chat group and it's just as much fun here! although it's a bit challenging waiting for replies. Hey Staci could you please message elmer23 for me again please. i've sent her numerous messages in her email here at the DP but still have not heard from her. I need to get her address so I could mail out her chocolates on Monday. thank you so much for your help

I'm so happy to see that everyone's enjoying the process of our chocolate exchange, the best part is yet to come when we reveal the details of our treats

I second Staci's suggestion, maybe we can do this a tradition we can even do a different theme each time that would be totally fun! I'm already having different ideas what we can do the next time. Some ideas include: exchanging our favorite things whatever they may be, could be something you enjoy collecting or making or a book exchange. The possibilities are endless!

I think that would be very cool. And yes, I will email Elmer23 right now and have her message you with her address.

I just noticed, I've not seen any posts from Pixi's Mom or Msegens . I hope they both just peeked in here and did their necessary exchange of addresses.

What are the chances of this, Caramel who is Emma picked me and me picking Elmer23 who is also Emma teehee how cool is that Anyway, I am sending my post to you Emma with a treat for Blue and Finn. I hope they both enjoy it, Kira loves it so I figure they might like it too

I agree, this is fun. Went to the local chocolate factory here in Burnsville today and watched them make candys. I had my son with and we had to sample many different things before we bought. As soon as I find a nice puppy treat the package will be on its way.

I had every intention of going out and doing this today but it looks like it will have to wait until tomorrow. I had my entire family home from school/work today all sick. I'm going to work tomorrow to get out of this house since I don't wanna get sick now. I will make a stop at the post office on my lunch.

I too was going to apologize for not sending yet as I've had a busy few days. Personally I am fine and not in a hurry. Kody's Mom, don't worry, I've already planned what I'm sending, nothing fancy, but hopefully unavailable to you thereby making it "Canadian" It will be sent sometime during the next week, hopefully My biggest concern is customs confiscating it before it gets to you.

This is a "no pressure" event I think. It is all about sharing and exchanging and having fun and bless you Issa for starting it. I can't wait to see what we do next year, or sooner, depending on the season

Oh I'm just soooo happy to see everyone enjoying this, I'm glad that everyone on the list is participating. No apologies needed Oliver's Mummy, and Yes, there's no rush. Send your chocolates at your earliest convenience. This exchange is not intended to add any additional stress to our busy lives already. It actually would work good if we all don't send it at the same time so that it gives us time to post comments on the treats we received one at a time.

Caramel, looking forward to your post! Don't worry about Kira, she gets plenty of treats here so I don't think she would feel left out after all this exchange is primarily for us peeps teehee

Doggymommy your chocolate is on its way! Just sent it 2 hours ago. Put in some treats for your 3 guys but dont think theyll last too long! Oh and excuse the spelling mistake on the card! Wrote Jazz instead of Taz and just as I wrote it realised the mistake! Damn!

Yummy! I received my sweets! How lucky am I? Lots of treats and my son and I have already been nibbling. Thank you. I also made sure Pixi got her new toy. She was so excited to see what was in the box and very suprised to see that some of it was hers! Now I seriously have to get mine sent. Thank you from both Pixi and I for the delicious treats and the new toy.
