Postby elmer23 on Tue Dec 30, 2008 7:55 pm

Anybody going to Crufts this year? Im hoping to go on the Thursday for the terriers and hounds. Went for the first time last year and was blown away by the size of the place!

I have never been.
but often watched it on TV.
The part of this that I really love, has to be the Obedience Trials.
Maybe One day, I can get to this level.
Ah well no harm in dreaming .
Licks from Joe, X Border Collie.
Wet nose from Faith Dalmatian.

I wish I could go! If anyone knows of a network that carries Crufts on television here in Canada, I'd love to find out. We do have the opportunity to watch Westminster, but I would really love to see Crufts! :) Enjoy yourself Emma

Its a Big Dog show.

Or the official Version.

Crufts is an annual international Championship conformation show for dogs organised and hosted by the Kennel Club (UK), currently held every March at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, England. It is the largest annual dog show in the world, as declared by the Guinness Book of Records, and lasts four days.

Crufts consists of several competitions occurring at the same time. The main competition is for the Best in Show award, which is generally considered the highest award achievable by a dog and its owner throughout the world

Kian and Deborah, you could hop over the pond and stay with me. I'm just over an hour from Birmingham.

If it were up to me, you'd see me in February. I love England in February (and June/July!) You are very sweet and if you are ever coming any where near Canada, do let me know as I too would love to have you :)

It's at the end of the rainbow, but don't tell anyone. It's a secret.

I think that you may have to wait until we get a Leprechaun as a member here.
And then ask the same question.
