Ill keep an eye out for a pot of gold here, with the reccesion it might be hard to find some because the leprechauns will be extra secretive! May just keep an eye out. Might train Blue to hunt them!

Crufts isnt being shown on BBC this year Gary because of that pedigree dogs exposed show! Im so dissapointed. Its the highlight of the year.

I guess that you will just have to enter Blue into some more local Shows.

Yea I entered him in the local agriculture shows and the like but he doesnt like it. He was entered in IKC shows when he was a pup but his coat, ears and colour does not comply with the breed standard. At local shows he just puts his head down and looks totally uninterested. Hell stand to be given the once over for the judge, hes brilliant at that. He also has a shake thing in his back legs like hes cold or doing an Elvis impersonation so when the judge is looking at the final line up it doesnt look great. I had him in one last august but he wasnt happy so were giving it up. I was just being selfish putting him in!

Do you enter dog shows with Joe and Faith? You do obedience with Joe dont you? I love the show scene, hoping to show my next pup if my mam gives in to letting me have one

I only enter into the likes of companion Dog shows with Joe.
We did do an exhibition with our club, for the RSPCA last year.
And we do inter club competions, but nothing too serious.

The only problem i get with him, is his excitment.
He is a very highly strung Dog, and he Barks a lot of the time in class.
But very border collie, and just loves to please.

I don't think I'm going to enter Loki in any more shows. I just can't get enough weight on him or muscle (I don't have the time or energy to run him ten miles a day). It wasn't completely successful especially the bit when the judge said "stand your dogs" and he flopped to the ground and no amount of persuading could get him on his feet again.

Elmer, what's wrong with Blue's colour and stuff? He looks completely perfect to me.

Go look at a picture of Blue on my profile then google kerry blue terrier. Spot the difference! Hes too good to be in IKC shows anyway. Hed just show up all the other kerries! We love him just the way he is, he has no faults to us hes perfect!

Well I think Blue is as gorgeous as any Kerry Blue Terrier. I'm still enjoying the pipe dream of all of us flying privately around the world with our babies in the cabin. Perhaps we could ask Animal Planet or the Discovery Channel to "sponsor" this adventure

Thats a great idea. In the meantime I'm going to go out today and kiss some frogs just in case I unearth a wealthy prince.

Elmer you're right it wouldn't be fair on the other Kerry Blues.
