I often go on here on an evening, and it's fun :) The latest I've been on was about midnight - school night, whoops!
..
The following may sound random but I just feel a speech coming on, ok?

I am so happy I joined the Daily Puppy, everyone. I swear if I don't go on it every day I get withdrawal symptoms! I actually adore it here and I never expected I would make such wonderful friends of such different ages to me at a place like this. I've only been part of a forum once other than this and it was no where near as active and interesting as the DP. And also I have learned so much whilst I've been here, about all different aspects of dog ownership and training, and I feel that I will be a better owner some day because of the time I've spent on this forum. If it weren't for the DP I would feel quite isolated from the world of dogs that I love, as I don't have one of my own and none of my immediate family do. It has helped me find my love of dogs again as it had slipped to the back of my mind a while over the past few years as I grew to love horses so I am very thankful for this website! There are also lovely people on here who are so helpful and kind, and from places across the world I have never been to before and that also has been so interesting for me to see a little bit how things are in the USA, Canada, etc. I love how we can talk about anything really here on the DP e.g. art, food, even my new braces! It feels like home here now on the DP and for some reason I just had to say all this, it just sort of came out   :)

I LOVE THE DP :D

P.S. Don't really know why I posted this on this thread, sorry rexandbaby!

Good thread! I sometimes feel a bit lonely on here if I pop on in the morning and you are all still in bed and I have to catch up on all the chatting that has been going on after I go to bed. It's just gone 10pm here and you will all be just getting going when I settle into the arms of Morpheous. I have been staying on later recently and it's been great but then I don't want to get out of bed in the morning.
Snoops, it's good thAT YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE ENOUGH ON HERE TO BE ABLE TO TELL US HOW YOU FEEL.(CAT JUST PUTCAPS LOCK ON)

Snoops I think many of us feel the same way. There are so many good people here and that makes it fun. Glad you like it here, even with us grandma types!!

Loki's mum, I love the way you write. I use to have time zones on my sidebar, and sometimes you would be on late. Philip has you beat there, he is up till the wee hours of the morning.

I really must go to bed now. Keep posting everyone, I'll catch up at some point. Maybe I should move to the same time zone as everyone else (or as most of you). I'm not sure I've read all of yesterdays new posts yet.

I feel the same as Snoopygirl. I am entirely addicted to the DP and all the wonderful people I've met on here. We have come together over one common thread, pardon the pun, from all over the world, all different ages and stages of life. I think the DP is like a lovely quilt, made up of a patchwork of different people to create one beautiful thing. This is the first forum in which I have participated and my family knows that the DP is now a part of my day. Ironically Snoops (as Loki's Mum calls you which I like) I was thinking of starting a thread with the same idea in mind...how grateful I am to the DP. There are far worse things a young person, or older person, could be doing on their computer than participating in a site that caters to dog lovers!

Sleep tight Tracy...you were posting that as I was posting this!

I have to make sure not to make myself scarce in the summer time. Last year I did that, and had to learn about all the new members that I had missed out on. I am on different forums, but have to say, this one has been my favorite.
I love my dogs, they keep me focused!

Deborah I really like what you said it being like a patchwork quilt! Isn't that the truth........what a great thought. I too love the DP and all of the friends that I have made here. Don't know what I would do without you all!!

Thanks rexandbaby! That's such a nice thing to say, thank-you, I feel very happy if this is true! I actually think my brain has finished that whole 'teenage development' early, (lol) because my English teacher was talking about it the other day and apparently teenagers are incapable of empathy/seeing other people's point of view because their brains haven't finished making those 'pathways' yet. Well, I feel empathy with everyone and I always see things from other people's point of views and I think that's why everybody at school sees me as a total weirdo in the way that I am "too nice" and they don't understand me. Who knows? :)
Note: This was not meant to come off as bigheaded/haughty/superior etc. etc.

Lol this too made me laugh.

Yes Deborah, my family know that I am on here all the time too, but they think I'm crazy. If they walk in (e.g my sister or my mam) they'll take one look at my screen and say in an exasperated voice, "Daily Puppy again!"

Thanks everyone for making me laugh as I have just been bawling my eyes out  hideously on the school bus, getting off it, walking home, and in my bedroom. My friend Emily is leaving and moving to Hull. Today was her last day. We were all upset
