favorite memories of years past.A tribute to my Chris

This time of year I think a lot of things from the past. Some of your know my grandson Christopher had Cystic fibrosis and passed on Jan1 2007. , he was 15 years old. Cystic fibrosis is a gentic disease, that affects most of the fluids in your body ,lungs pancreases ect... If anyone should want to know more let me know as the more people that have knowledge about it the better. We were to so many er's that even the doctors were clueless.

I didn't start this thread to upset anyone , just share the happy memories of a wonderful child.

His last christmas we went ice fishing and froze our tails off but thats what he wanted to do.He spent the whole month of dec with me ,it was one of the best christmas's I can remember. I'm going to upload some pictures and you can see what a joy he was.

I am so sorry for your loss of Chris to a horrible disease. I have not had or know anything about this particular disease.
It is good to dwell on the good memories of a loved one and try to put the memories of the disease far in the back of your mind.
I, too, lost a very close loved one back in the spring to a deadly disease so I know first hand what you are feeling. I know that they would want us to go on and remember the good times and rejoice that they are no longer in pain and suffering. It has been hard this Christmas to keep a positive attitude but it is possible.

Please post some of your favorite memories with Chris. It will help you to share these memories and keep them alive.

I am so so sorry about Chris! It must have been so terrible for you and your family to loose him to that terrible disease.
It is nice that he was able to spend so much time with you, and so give you so many special memories to remember him by. I know how it feels like to loose a loved one, it takes time to heal. Keep only the happy memories in your heart they will help.

It looks like he lived life to the full, Brenda. This is a lovely tribute to him.
