Can't forget the key lime pie...Yum!
It's so funny, every shop claims they have the best key lime pie ever.
There was a little place we found a few years ago, that really did have the best IMO. This year we discovered they had a fire and never rebuilt, I was so disappointed.



This was a place we wanted to try, but never made it back when it was open.
It was a dessert restaurant...the menu was posted on the window and looked decadent.

Sad they never rebuilt it!,...Lime Pie,..is that Lime as related to Lemons?,..i have eaten a Lemon and Lime Cheescake!,..bitter sweet,..but yummy with thick cream.

Philip, Key limes are smaller and sweeter than the limes that are similar to lemons.
They are supposed to be more yellow than green, when they are ripe. Key lime pie is delicious and quite different than a regular lime pie. They are also used in quite a few seafood dishes in the Keys.

I love Key lime anything. Yogurt, cheesecake, rum cake... When my sis was there, they made a Key lime drink but of course she couldn't remember what went in it!

I love the picture of you and your HO, you do make a great looking couple! And you can tell by the look on your faces you both were having a good time together. Thats wonderful!

I would have liked to try that dessert bar too, maybe you can go there next time.

What is the large statue of the dancing couple for? I tried to read the signs but I don't think they really tell what that place is. Just curious!

I LOVE that sailboat picture! Beautiful weather plus fantastic looking water, and throw a boat in too....perfect!!

I've only been there once, I drove down with about 7 other women from Miami while our OH's were in meetings. They had to work, we got to have fun!! Your pictures make me want to go back. I may have to look into sneaking over there when we go to my niece's area later in the year.

I always get on a key lime kick when we get back. Everything I make will have limes in it for the next week or so.
