Margie, I was getting choked up writing it.
We ♥ you, Theater Margie!

Hehe, I thought it was a tad Dr. Seuss-y too.

I've read it a few times, I love it!! Hidden talent girlfriend and so perfect. Theatre Margie is a perfect nickname for a lovely and another talented gal! (I love how Indy and Lindy rhyme)

RJM, you have me in tears once again today, but this time they are happy tears!

I miss all of you so much and RJM's poem literally captured all the moments, from Theatre Margie to the Shoe Buffer!

Biggsie loved the Shoe Buffer story...actually he loved all the stories and wished he was there.

I was starting to think I was the only one who felt such a deep connection to everyone that started on a computer. RJM, you also managed to include the ones who weren't physically there, but were there and with whom we shared the fun.

Thank you for that gift!

Until next year indeed. :D

RJM, you wrote a beautiful poem that evokes all kinds of emotions. Those tears start flowing and then the laughter comes (think shoe buffers). I can't believe you've never written poetry before. Very nice! There is NEVER a dull moment when it comes to the DP. I miss you all so much! While I am not posting much on here at the moment, I try to sneak a few moments in to catch some of my favorite threads. It's back to school/work for me now. Even when I am quiet, you are ALL a huge part of my thoughts.

Angie, you and I are mind-melding! I was going through this thread, and reliving the wonderful moments and thought this thread deserves to be "bumped" (as there is a button for that available to us all). After I bumped the thread, I realized you had just posted in here, which automatically would bump it!

Wow, we are so on the same page, that blows my mind. I will admit that Elliot and I often reminisce about our time in Niagara and all the fun we had. He still teases me about Monday morning when it was time to start packing to leave and how upset I was suddenly. I didn't want it to end.

I love playing your videos and hearing everyone's laughter in my room. Lynners is one party animal

Being with you was like being with an old friend. I am still gobsmacked that you bumped this thread! GMTA!!!!

The Shoe Buffer story is still a hit with any new crowd. It was quite spectacular. Apparently the Falls were not enough for that fellow?! :P

Wasn't there, but still sharing the good times with those who were and RJM's poem is a gem! :)

With the crappy year I've had this year, I went back over all the comments, photos, and videos last night. It made me so happy...and a little teary. I miss all of you so very much - even though we are in contact most days either here or FB. It's not the same. There was some of the best hugs ever that weekend....

Liz, this thread is intended to be "inclusive" of all! We certainly talked about those who weren't with us and wished they were and I can safely say, we were all grateful for the community that brought us together. The timing was kismet really and it just happened to work. :D

Margie, I have often revisited this thread, especially to watch the video of you in my room! Oh my goodness....you do make me laugh and you give wonderful hugs angel. 8) At least by sharing this thread, those who weren't able to attend can still see and hear what it was like, and what we're like....which is pretty much what is present daily here.

Phyrie seemed to be the only one who was surprised, and she is still talking about that!  :P

I can't wait until we make it over to England!!! I'm hoping we can do this as a group, or at least a few of us at a time. If not, we'll share our individual experiences thereby making them one. ♥

I still have my "hotel key" which of course is a card, but it has a gorgeous photo of my hotel and the Falls behind it, sitting on my desk, right under my monitor. I look at it daily. The trip was also a wonderful experience for Elliot and I to share. He's grown up so much since last summer, it's unbelievable. I'm sure Mad has as well. That trip was a wonderful reprieve in my life at that time, so much so, that I didn't want to leave on Monday morning. If I could have afforded it, I probably would have stayed at least one more day.

Lastly, had it not been for that trip, I never would have visited BC this summer. I had such a fantastic time on that holiday as well. I am looking forward to more "DP" adventures, and I'm looking "across the pond" now! :D

....AND RJM and the Ho are coming to London for one night, in early October to attend a concert with Elliot and I, so the circle continues!
