I think they are all beautiful. I especially like the back-to-back bird of paradise flowers. The huming bird is amazing. I love the colours you have reflected in the roses and the deep pink/red roses are beautiful. Love 'em all.

Kris...you have such an amazing talent. Just gorgeous photos!!

I have to say - I think my favorite one is the bench in the shade. It might be because I would love to be sitting there in the warmth and quiet. But the photo is just so serene, and the shading is beautiful.

Please keep posting those photos!!

Thanks Margie,
They had benches everywhere. I am definately going back. Next time I'm going to give myself more time.
Maybe even pack a picnic lunch and just sit on one of those benches and soak it all in.

I can't believe this place is 15 minutes from my house and free.
I bet most of us have these hidden jewels close to us that we never knew existed.

I just signed up for a photography meetup. We are going to the 22nd Annual America's Family Pet Expo.
I have been before. But not to take photographs. Should be fun.

So be prepared for lots of puppy photos next weekend.

Wow, Kris! Just "Wow!" You evoke so many different emotions and atmospheres with your photos. The flowers are lovely, but I think I like the grassy, woodsy ones best. They're cooler and quieter somehow.

Is the wisteria walkway tilted, or was your camera? The ground looks level, and I'm wondering if the wisteria is pulling the archway over.

We're always ready for lots of puppy photos! What a great meet-up! That will be fun plus a great photo opportunity.

We've found a few "free" gems around here too. Its always a great surprise to find them.

The only critique I would give on your photos is. Keep shooting, they are great!!!

Oops  I think it was my camera. I was trying to take pics while my instructor was talking. I guess I wasn't 100% focused on what I was doing.

Thanks for all the kind critiques. I think I will change the name of this thread on Sunday to Kwak's Photo Adventures. So I don't have to start a new thread for the puppy shoot. I'm sure I'm going to want to share more than just three in the photo thread.

Kwak, I loved all of your photos. The one that particularly struck me was of the plant, from the top down. That could stand alone and be very striking indeed.

I also loved how serene and peaceful it looked there. The gardens are lovely. That would be a great place for a picnic.

I am looking forward to seeing your pictures from this weekend. :D

Only Have 10 minutes before I leave for the Casino. But here are some of the photos from today. I will post more tomorrow.
Kian, they had mini donkeys and I thought of you and Banjo,
RJM I took a photo of a piggly wiggly for you.
And the lady with the frisbee dog. I swear could be Kian and Ice (but with a tail)

It was so much fun. I bought a shirt that says
I love BIG mutts and I can not lie.

I only had 2 1/2 hours so most of my pics are of the jump dogs. But I had fun.
Enjoy. I hope you like my pics.

Holy cow!!! Those shots are AMAZING!!! They are some of the most amazing action shots of dogs I've ever seen.

The positions of the frisbee chasing dogs seem unbelievable. Who knew a dog could leap up into those positions??? :o

I agree with Margie! Absolutely AMAZING action shots! You truly froze them in time and caught the most interested positions! I believe one of my blogging friends went there as well. Looks like a great time!

AMAZING action shots, WOW!! I love how you captured the dogs in the air. OH looked at them as well and really liked them.
He agrees the grey haired lady and the dog could be me! Love the Donkey, so cute. That shot of the Belgian? in the air at the dock dog is spectacular! The different positions of the Frisbee dogs shows off that athletic ability, I have to keep looking back. Thanks so much for thinking of me and sharing those pics, amazing Kris!

Amazing photos!!!! Wow, you sure captured a lot in an afternoon, and the photography is excellent! I loved the pictures, and the Donkey's were very cute. I also loved Piggly Wiggly. :D

I don't think I've ever seen a photo of a dog, upside down, about to catch a Frisbee in its mouth. 8)

Thanks everyone, It was amazing. I almost wished I went today instead so I could have spend more time there. But I did have an amazingtime and took a zillion photo. I really wished it was a true meetup so I could have asked others what setting they were using. But I think I did pretty good with the ones I was using. Problem was it was so sunny. It was hard to tell when I was there how they were turing out. When I got home and uploaded them to the computer. I was pretty happy with them .

Note. Most of the dogs in the jump show were rescues from Las Vegas Shelters. WOW. Just proves there are some amazing dogs up for adoption.

Enough chit chat here are some more photos for your enjoyment. (I hope)

Kwak those dogs doing the tricks are amazing. That had to be something to see in person, wow!! Your action photos are fantastic! What fun that outing had to be.

Love the bird photos, they are just fascinating to look at.

I got a kick out of the bloodhound photo. We have a bloodhound down the street who has a very girly playhouse as her doghouse!

Great job Kwak!
