Kian, Love the goose story. How sweet he came when called and everyone is safe now!
I'd love a goose, but the HO is a big stick in the mud.
There was a spotted piglet named Oreo up for adoption at the local animal shelter, and he said NO! Can you believe that?

I think the next DP tour should be to the Whimsy Mini Farm.

Oh I just loved that goose story! How smart of the goose and duck to call out for help. Can anything be done to trap the fox?

I wonder what the HO would do if someone stuck a pig in his car in Niagara? Just sayin'... Could happen...

Hehehe, I love it!
If we ply him more than a few adult beverages, he may go for it. That's how I got most of my dogs.

Kian, Things are all falling into place for your mini farm. I'm so happy for you. What a pleasant surprise to get two for the price of one. All three of them are adorable. And sweet Allie only wants to play. How scary about the fox. Thank goodness the goose and duckling were ok. I love the idea of a mini pig. RJM will be there in a flash.

Kian,
Oh my gosh y our little Whmsy Farm is growing in Brays and Naaas. I am very surprised because you had already gotten your goat, Scout when I last posted. This time I read all the last pages so I am caught up. Now I know the whole Farm Story. Wow, Seet little Banjo, then Scout, and REALLY?, Mommy Donkey (with Donkey Cola.) I am :o ! Your "Secret" is out.(Well, not quite yet.) Are you going to keep the Mother Donkey as well, or is she part of the two for the price of one deal?
Your Banjo is the sweetest little guy. I just love him, and you can see him right out your kitchen window. Cool. I think Scout is priceless too. She and Allie meeting pics are very cute. Ican't wait to see the new spotted BABY!
Good luck in your new Maternity Ward. I am sure your Dogs will be of assistance with the birthing process, and of course, Nurse Scout. She is a girl, correct? Wow now you and OH really do have y our hands full. Enjoy all those babies and it looks so pretty out where you live.
Hugs to The Animal Kingdom at Whimsy Farm~ Elizabeth~

Kim there was a ad in the paper free mini horse ! male 3years old 1 female 6 years old , I just missed them . So close !

But I do wonder why they were free? OH said if I'd got them you would have had to come get them for your farm ,he has enough to feed while I have surgery.

Brenda, your OH is funny!

I too would wonder what "free" really meant. Perhaps these animals are in distress and need a lot of veterinary care, or some other hidden cost. If it's too good to be true, it usually is.

You'll have your mini farm in due course, of that I have no doubt! You deserve to have everything you want, as far as I'm concerned. Tell the OH I said so.

Free! I would have gone and taken a look. There some older farm animals that people do give away for a variety of reasons. I have come across a few only to have them gone already.

Isn't it the upkeep of horses that makes the biggest dent in the bank? My mum always says "You can buy a horse for 50p, and the Farrier for £500". Hence no horsey for this house. I keep trying to get the rest of the family on board with the idea of ditching a couple of the dogs and getting a horse. My argument of "But you can't ride a Jack Russell" doesn't seem to be working.

Free? I would have gone to look too. I'm such a sucker, that even if there was something wrong with them, I'd still take them and try to fix it.

Emma, So true, that's why I don't have my mini donkey or even my piggy yet.
But, Scarlet Petunia will be here some day. 8)
