Oh, man, where to start?! Banjo is adorable, and Ally is just as sweet as can be. Too bad you can't have them both! Scout is adorable, too. What's not to love about a goat?

Which reminds me of a story Paul told me once about a childhood adventure. Seems he was visiting a friend who had a billy goat. A very, um, virile billy goat. Paul and his friend thought it would be great fun to wrestle the goat. Which they did. All afternoon. Great fun was had by all, including Billy. Until Paul got home.

His mother wouldn't let him in the house. She made him strip in the yard, and hosed him down until most of the stink was gone. He said even standing in the backyard, in his underwear, being doused with cold water from the hose, was still totally worth goat-wrestling!

Kian, Ally is so adorable! I love Donkeys. They are so, so sweet and affectionate.

My last post was rather disjointed. I think I referred to the donkey and then went on to mention the Goats and how they smell. Yes, goats do smell. We had two "kids", Barney and Fred and they were a handful. Their Mum, "Mike" was very sweet and earthy smelling, but the two boys could escape almost any enclosure and loved to munch on my Mum's garden. Goats will eat anything and everything.

I can't wait for you to have your Donkey.

LOL Phyrie, I always had to shower after playing with my SIL's Billy goat.

I could never grow roses at our last farm as Maggie our goat ran with the dogs. She loved those roses!

Kian, I've been following this thread and oohing and aahing with my kids over all the pictures, especially of Banjo Jack and little Scout (if that's the name you're sticking with). They're just so cute -- and they sound so sweet -- that I think someone should start a Daily Donkey or a Daily Adorable Livestock website. I'd visit it and leave gushing comments.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of these two and of the horse that's undoubtedly going to join the family. Keep the pictures coming!

One month old and cute as can be! I let pics be taken of me with Banjo so you can see the size of this little guy. You have been warned! I noticed they had a "found chihuahua" sign and hoped it to be the missing Ben....it wasn't. Joanie's daughter and grand kids were visiting and the Chi loved them, but would not let a adult come near. I was able to pet him, hope the owner comes around.

Now for the halter and lead rope training, no pics of me so you can relax now.







I took over and worked with him on positive rewards, he quickly learned if the lead rope was taunt and he took a step towards me the rope would be loosed and he would get lots of love. Joanie and I worked him a few minutes and he did great.

I texted the goat owners to see if I could come and see my little girl, they had company today. Joanie said if I hadn't bought her she would have. She told them the next cream one his hers, glad I snatched her up!

Banjo is just so sweet, I can hardly stand it! If any donkey can "shake a hoof" it would definitely be yours Kian.

Banjo is adorable and smart, as well. His mom is very pretty. I love his hand shake, so cute.
