Sandy, if we had a shelter nearby, or even a breeder that lived close enough to me that I could be there and back in one day, my husband would leave me, because I would be that crazy pet lady that lives down the lane...

You showed great restraint today, and I'm proud of you.

HI Everyone,

Sounds like we are all waiting here and we just can't stand it another minute and now we have to wait all night. I think he has become the hit of the Deborah and Co. household.I just love a very confident Puppy. Mine is sort of over-confident and that can be a problem too. He sort of talks back and rrr rrr rrr's me if I say something to him that he doesn't like. I have to put him in his crate for a time out. He doesn't mind at all because when he get all our of sorts, he needs to rest in his crate.
Then he is fine. Well, I need to put my puppy to bed and get all those puppy kisses and puppy breath from my sweet little Puggy,Master Cooper.

Tomorrow we see little Henry, and Oliver I am sure! Can't wait!!

Goodnight all, Until tomorrow, Woofie from Cooper! Hugs, from Elizabeth~

Phyrie, I've always been that crazy pet lady down the lane! Dogs (plural), cats, rabbits, birds, lets see...what else?

Now that I only have my Cheyenne & my cat Meiko, it's kind of strange. But as you may have read somewhere where I wrote it, I'm just not ready this time. It was very hard not to go get one of the puppy mill puppies, but I knew they'd get adopted quickly. The last few dogs & cats had finished their training and socializing in foster homes, and came back to the shelter a few days ago. I just heard the last pup was gone today.

I don't know when I'll be ready, if I'll still have Cheyenne or not ... all up in the air for now. But I know if I start looking, it wouldn't take long! But darn! it's hard to keep driving!

Hugs,
Sandy

I still don't have any pictures to post, although one or two have been captured. When Henry is awake, it is all hands on deck. He is having the most successful integration into a household I've ever enjoyed. Oliver is warming up to Henry and is slowly realizing that this wee baby might be here to stay. We have shown Oliver ways to escape the puppy. Henry is in love with Oliver and Ben and Elliot and Mummy and the OH!

Henry has a white tipped tail that stands up so straight, it reminds me of a tall flag on a bicycle when he wags it. All one really sees is the white tip going madly back and forth. He leaps to say hello to everyone. Henry managed to stay clean and dry from 10:30 p.m. last night until 5:00 a.m. this morning. We have been diligent about taking him outside to do his business and less than an hour ago, he went to the door and raised his paw. Elliot whisked him outside and he did his business! YAY! There have been a couple of accidents, of course, but we're on the right track.

Despite being a little nipper, Henry is already a love bug of Cavalier proportions

I do wish to take some pictures and I am going to very shortly. We're in the middle of a heat wave and I want Oliver to be a little more comfortable, so in a day or two I am bound to capture some lovely shots. Everyone has been so kind, supportive and enthusiastic for us and I just am unable to express my profound gratitude. I feel as if I'm sharing this experience with all of you and it feels wonderful.

More puppy stories please Deb. We had the Cavi hooligan round this morning as my mum was looking after SS before school so I could work an agency shift. It is quite disconcerting having two mismatched puppies galumphing up and down the house while you're trying to get ready for work. Not what I'm used to, at the moment anyway.

Tracy, I love that Libby is a hooligan! I initially thought it was due to her gender, but I now know it is her spirit. It is so much fun having two dogs again. One day I'm sure you too will experience the joy and what fun that will be with Mr. Loki Pokey Paws!

One thing that has become apparent is how much Oliver has changed since last September. I am so glad we have Henry to "inspire" Oliver to play again.

I finally started a thread with a few of Henry's new pictures. These are such fun days

Do you mean Cavalier King Charles Spaniels or King Charles Spaniels?

Your puppy looks like a Cavalier, and obviously I love them as I have two!

There is a thread in the Breed Specific section in which you can post all your pictures of your Cavalier. That way, other Cavalier fanciers, as some are known, can find you.
