Actually, he was quite healthy. Very lucky too. I hate that breeders would breed two merles together just because that's what they had. He was a rescue.

im excited for you! :D
i have to warn you though .... cute puppies and DSLRs dont go well together ....
youll never put the camera down!

Haha. Topaz won't know what happened to me. She'll want to know what the black clicking growth is on my hand. I'll never be able to stop taking pictures of her. I'm also starting photography lessons. This thread will probably over flow with my pictures. You'll all have to make me stop!

A friend here has a double merle, very pretty, but no depth perception at all! The backyard breeder did not do his research before attempting to breed. The dog does the goose step walk, we think to feel the ground ahead, very sad since she and I were going to do agility together.

I took some photo classes as well, good infomation there you will use! I have Nikon D60 and love it. So go ahead and overflow with the pictures, I will be anxious to see them. I think Allie thinks that camera is attached to my hand as well.
She knows the black bag is a signal that we are going somewhere!!

Oh, don't worry about my computer! It's a mac, it can handle it. ME on the other hand, well, with Topaz AND Meeko to look at... I might not make it. Cute overload! :D

Love the pictures. The after shots look great! Why was Meeko's leg shaved??

Kian, have you started any agility training with Allie since she's a year old now? I'm thinking about maybe doing this with Topaz when she's old enough. She loves to jump the horse pasture fence. She prefers that as her way of exit. :D

Oh yes, I forgot!

Topaz is graduating from puppy class tonight! They pushed the graduation back two weeks since we didn't get to cover quite everything we wanted to. It's supposed to be really cute. They have certificates and bones for the pups and cupcakes for the people. It'll be cute. I'll have to get some pictures. What I'm really excited for though is our next class that starts in a few weeks. We'll finally be doing obedience!

We must have graduation pictures!! Way to go Topaz.
Blinkme that wasn't enough pictures  8) You did a great job with photoshop, they look great. We do want more!

I'm planning on starting agility soon, right now it seems we are so busy and I have to travel to take her every Tuesday. I just wish there was a club closer. I will be signing her up soon I hope.

Double merles are sad :( I resuced a double blue merle from rescue group, the owners were backyard breeders and had no idea, they sold my puppy and then the owners found out he was deaf, so they turned him in to be put to sleep, luckily a rescue group got him, and I adopted him when he was 11 weeks old. He was 100% deaf but had no vision problems. He was an amazing dog, very smart, he knew over 30 signs, ( all done in american sign language) I had him about 3 years and he snapped, he started to attack my other dog, started snapping at the kids and bit my neighbors kid in the stomach, we took him to the vet and they said that in the double merle breedings sometimes it messes up their brains, and he just turned so aggressive that we had to hve him put down, after of course he snapped at me and bit my leg. :( I'll see if I can find some pictures of him.

Yay for Topaz on graduation!!! we need pictures!!!

Marcos Mom that is a sad story, those backyard breeders have no clue about breeding. They should leave it to the pros who know what they are doing. Please find the pictures, would love to see this dog. I am so glad I did not get a dog from the backyard breeder who bred doubles not knowing any different.

He was gorgeous. So so so sad he snapped like that.... He was very lucky to have those three years with you though. Many people would have just given up on him. Like the breeders. 30 signs is amazing!

I'm trying to post photos using Flickr.... But, it's not working! I am copying and pasting the image code.... Any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong? I might just have to go try photo bucket if I can't figure it out.
