Is Samriever a breed?

Postby Duda on Mon Jan 07, 2013 8:31 pm

I wonder if the Samriver (Samoyed + Golden Retriever) is a considered as a breed. I've been looking for information that specify them as a breed (or not), but I found controversial opinions about it. Daily Puppy members, do you know anything that helps me out?

Thanks

Duda and Boris, from Brazil.

No it is not a breed, it is considered a Samoyed Mix or Golden Mix. There is no such name as a Samriever.
While Boris is very cute, there is no standard with this mix. You don't know what qualities you will get when mixing dogs.

What do you what to know? Perhaps we can help.

Duda,Greetings from the US...Boris is a beautiful boy and I love his looks..I cannot guess how the two very different personalitys manifest themselves.
As Kian has said there is no such breed as a Samreiver in any known, valiid, registry .So enjoy your boy,he is one of a kind.

We would like to hear about the further adventures of BORIS ( with pictures if possible ) :D
