are you looking for breed specific rescues or a mixed breed rescue?

preferably poms, but mixed breed is nice too.

I'm not sure if you've gotten your answer to this yet.

I don't know of a POM rescue organization, but there is a No-Kill rescue/shelter in Carrollton/Addison, called Operation Kindness. They are an awesome organization. (My husband and I have adopted 3 dogs from there)
