Hi. I am brand new to this site and have completely enjoyed looking at the photos of all your dogs/puppies. Now we finally have one of our own. He is a two year old yellow lab, about 75 pounds of gorgeous.
I have to highly recommend Sandy at Canine Solutions:Rescue. They are out of Illinois (we live in Wisconsin). She does foster care and rescue for Labs. We found our Bogie on the petfinder website and she had him. She met us in northern Illinois and actually brought about 4 labs with her for us to meet but it was love at first site for us (and I'm assuming for Bogie also since he promply jumped up into my truck and claimed the back seat). He has been such an incredible addition to our family. He is almost two and I'm so glad someone was able to get him out of the original shelter before he was put down...what a waste that would have been!!! Her committment to the dogs is obvious.
To see what dogs she has available, you have to access http://www.petfinder.com and put in the breed. I used yellow and golden...she also has 2 or 3 chocolates right now.
