I am working with a dog rescue here in Santa Monica, California
called Take Me Home.


TMH is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than nine years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save animals on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull an animal from a shelter, we do our best to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older animals and hope to expand this program as quickly as possible.

Kwak, they are all adorable, but I must say I was struck by the look in Scarlett's eyes. Spock is aptly named and a spitfire. They are all beautiful.

There's a lot of boxers/boxer mixes there, Kris. Is that because people don't consider the breed before adopting them? They are not a breed for a beginner, and I hate to see so many in rescue simply because people thought they were "cool" or some other crap.

I commend you for your rescue work. And I thank you, on behalf of the world at large, for the good work you're doing.

Although they are all beautiful animals, Peek-a-Boo won my heart completely. I, too, noticed the number of Boxers.
Thank you, Kris, for all the work and aid that you give to the animals. You can never give too little or too much for them and there is an area that anyone can help if only they are willing. I am sure they all wanted to go home with you.
