Transport Assistance Needed!

Lynners, Audrey is beautiful. I do hope a successful transport is able to be arranged.

It breaks my heart to think of all those dogs that deserve safe, loving, forever homes, whether they are puppies or seniors. I wonder if the people at Shady Creek might know of some volunteers that could help. They are located in Oklahoma.

I noticed you mentioned Kentucky as an area you get dogs from. When we were looking to adopt, most of the dogs I found were in Kentucky. I almost drove down to do a first visit with one before I spotted Sadie's (then known as Gracie) photo in Petfinder. She was still a ways away, but was in Indiana so a bit closer.

Just an update! Audrey arrived on Halloween evening and is doing well-ish in foster care so far. Surprisingly, she is showing no prey-drivey interest in her foster home's cats. She is showing signs of potential seperation anxiety, but we're not convinced it isn't stressed related at this point. Fingers crossed that she'll find a forever home soon!

Lynners, I'm sure Audrey is very confused right now with all of the changes. I am so pleased to hear that she is in a loving, Foster home now. Hopefully, she will be in her loving Forever home soon.
