LaurelG's message makes a lot of sense! Give it time! Old age in humans and dogs is gradual, comes and goes in stages. My big girl Daisy, Coonhound, has just taken to sleeping on my side of the bed, two twins, one for me one for the dogs, so three of us, Beagle, human and hound on one twin is close sleeping. I, of course am speaking from a retired person's point of view. Good sleep is so important for working folks. Try the xanax! for the dog! You are a great mom!
