They gave us a coupon when we got off for another 2 1/2 hour Cruise for $15. So I think I will be going on another one once the gray whales start migrating.

RJM, if you come I'll go with. It was a nice day. It was a little overcast but it kept the temps down so it wasn't too hot.

If they keep giving discount coupons when I go I might take a few cruises a year. $15 for a enjoyable cruise is well worth it. They have longer trips too but those cost more.

Wonderful pictures! It seems like you got a little bit of variety in the animals you saw :) You got some especially great shots of the dolphins.

I went on a whale watch here in Massachusetts last summer when my mom visited. We mostly saw humpback whales. It was amazing. They came up so close to our boat and basically put on a little show for us. I also got a couple great shots of one breaching.

I'd really like to be able to do more watches in other locations to see some other species :)

For that price, you can't beat it either!

Kris - I am so excited you got to go!! Isn't it one of the best things there is seeing the sea life up close and personal!!!

I had to quote this picture, it looks so much like one I took and I think I posted it in my thread (?) can't remember off the top of my head. Yours is in a totally different area. I love it!!!

Our trip was 6 hours but they kept us out 7 because we were seeing so much. Its something I would definitely do again.
I am absolutely thrilled that you went!!! Fantastic photos!!

Kwak, those are beautiful pictures! Wow, the price of that trip was also extremely reasonable. I would love to see the Dolphins, Whales and Sea Lions.

Linda, since you were out for 7 hours, was a lunch provided and beverages available? I don't know how much they charge for a 7 hour tour.

I love all of the photos and information. It is definitely something I would like to do one day.

Crazy thing is there are Whale Cruises out of Long Beach and Newport Beach. Both only 30 Minutes from my house. I went on one maybe 20 years ago. I don't know why I haven't done one since. I think I will make it a once a year thing at least. Even if we don't see any whales, I love the dolphins and sea lions more anyways.

If anyone comes out here and wants to go on a cruise. I will be more than happy to go with you.

I do, I do!! I want to go. You have some amazing shots there and such a fun adventure to go. The name of the boat is perfect. Those whales should start to migrate south soon, yes go again.

We saw a bunch in Alaska from the ship, it was a thrill just wish I had a better camera then. What a fun day you had.

Great photos. They have whale tours (not fancy cruises) in Victoria as we have the killer whales that migrate out that way. I was fortunate enough one time to see three pods of whales migrating at one time. The guides were beside themselves as they hadn't seen that before.

I highly recommend it! And at $20 and $15 - it would be rude not to!
