There are 2 different ways to add a photo to your post. One is through a photo hosting website
( like Photobucket ) and the other as an attachment to your post!
The first step is that the photos need to be on your computer and you need to know where on your computer they are and what their name is.
If you choose to add your photo as an attachment follow these simple instructions
When you are replying to a topic, or creating a new topic you have the ability to ‘Upload Attachment’. This feature is located in the box underneath the "preview" and "submit" buttons of your post. Here you can browse for any photo on your computer, add the file and even add a photo comment to your attached photo. Simply click on upload attachment.
If you choose to use a photo hosting website, here are detailed instructions
After you've picked a host you need to register an account (these services are free). Once you have an account you can upload any pictures you have saved on your computer to their servers. Once you've uploaded the pictures there will be a way to view your photos and get the URL of the photo that you can use in your post.
In this tutorial I'll use Photobucket
After the pictures are uploaded,follow the directions on the photo hosting service for the appropriate size for where you want your photo's to appear. Photo Bucket has a list of pre set sizes for forums, websites, email, etc.
Photobucket also allows you to adjust color, contrast, brightness, etc.
If you’re using Photobucket then under each photo is a set of URLs for that photo. The one you want to use is labeled "IMG CODE".
So, the final step is that when you are typing your post on the forum you just go back to Photobucket and copy and paste the "IMG" code in your post.
PLEASE USE THE PREVIEW BUTTON TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DONE IT CORRECTLY, BEFORE YOU HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON!!!
