As someone who recently turned 40 (only 9 years ago ) I do think it's the beginning of a new kind of freedom. It's hard to explain, but it's liberating. We can now say things we may not have said before because we have the age and wisdom to back it up, along with a far more relaxed outlook on life.

40 is the new 20 for all us cougars!

My birthday brought me a beautiful house, that I am going to love living in. (Positive thinking, it will all go through this time)
