Turkey meatloaf recipe, per RJM's request...
1 1/4 lbs ground turkey
1/3 cup seasoned dry bread crumb (I use whole wheat)
1/4 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1/4 cup onion, minced
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
I also add 2 cloves of minced garlic
Measure and hand mix, until just combined. Form into a loaf and put in the slow cooker. I cooked mine on low for about 7 hours, it would probably be done on high in about 4-5 (though it depends on your appliance).
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 teaspoons brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
About an hour before I took it out I mixed this sauce up and spooned it over the top. I used BBQ sauce instead of Worcestershire and I only had dijon mustard, so I used that. It turned out really good, sweet and tangy and complimented the turkey really well
