Remi & Monster (4.26 It's been so long, New Pictures!)

When we got Remi she already had a name but we weren't sure of keeping it. So after weeks of trying to think of a name that suited her we figured nothing suited her better then Remington(Remi for short). Before we had Remi we had a Husky/German Shepard mix for a short while but unfortunately it was not a good match. I couldn't imagine not having Remi. Here's one of the first photos I took of Remi when we got her at 12 weeks.

Then at 35 weeks.


She used to be so little, practically the same size as Monster. I haven't really gotten too many good pictures of Remi and Monster together.




Monster's still adjusting to his new sister but ever since we had to put down our older pug (Monsters papa Bambam) he's been more playful towards Remi and more relaxed. Now since Remi's been in lock-down until she recovers from her hip surgery he's been wanting to play with her. I let him have supervised visits with her from time to time and Remi just covers him with kisses.


Here's Bambam last November. He didn't have full use of his hindlegs and lost control of his bladder and BMs. We had him for about 12yrs so he had a long happy life. I wish I had digital pictures of him from when he was a puppy. He was absolutely ADORABLE.

I love that 4th picture of Remi sneaking around Monster, that is adorable. Deb will love the tongue shot.
It's hard to beleive that Remi was once smaller than Monster, that changes quickly. I do hope Remi recovers soon, Monster needs his playmate back.

BamBam was a handsome guy, Monster certainly inherited that. Monster is most adorable, as is Remi. What a great pair, thanks for sharing them with us!

In that picture when she was going around Monster was when he wasn't very fond of her.

I feel so bad when Monster runs around tackling his toys and Remi's locked up giving me the stare down. The first week he just moped and would look at her and then give us this look as to say "you broke her".

As Kian said, I do love a good tongue shot. I also thoroughly enjoyed the video and the sound Monster makes when playing.

Ashley, Remi is such a beautiful girl!
And I LOVE the video of your two, the noises coming from Monster cracked me up, along with the thumping of kittie paws...LOL!

Monster was actually being kindof quiet in that video compared to some of the noises he makes when he really gets into playing. Remi some times tries copying his noises but just she sounds like a big bear. She also has gotten really gentle playing with him.

I kept being dumped from the DP last night and was unable to reconnect, which has never happened to me before.

I was absolutely gushing over the photo's. Monster is an absolute riot with the snorting sounds. No wonder Remi loves her little brother so much.

If I need cheering up, I'll come back and watch that video!

An adorable pair! Cute photos.

oh yeah, Monster's quite the character. Earlier today he brought Remi a bone to chew on. Such a good brother.

Today, I took out his Pjs from the closet and he did his little happy dance around my feet. He couldn't wait to get it on--stuffed his own head straight through the hole before I could even figure which end was which!
I tried getting a picture of him in it (so you can see the cute back end!) but he refused to look at me.


Remi and Monster started a little kissy fight but stopped before I could get a picture of it. Look at that guilty face!
Also I've been noticing Monster has some brown spots appearing in the corner of his eyes. We'll have to get the vet to take a look maybe? I hope it's nothing serious!



Then Monster was laying next to me on the couch and I thought "I haven't clipped those nails in awhile". So I flipped him on his back and did a trim. (he didn't even wake up when I rolled him over, just let out a few snorts)

Oh. My. Goodness....

Remi is so sweet...but Monster has stolen my heart! He is such character! Those photos cracked me up! I cannot believe he loves his pjs. Oh, my....

Yeah. He freaks out over anything that he can wear.

Also whenever we give one of the cats or Remi a bath. He cries, because he wants a bath too! He actually starts to fall asleep while getting a bath. Once the bath is over and you take him out of the bath he tries to jump right back in.
