Sorry to say I'm not much of a Oscar watcher but I do like to take a peek at the winners. Could you highlight in red who won want, that would be interesting to see. I did hear the "Kings Speech" won and some have said it was a wonderful movie.

Hey all! I will post the list of winners shortly, I'm just waking up so I'll do it as soon as I'm fully functioning lol. The awards were great last night! I thought Anne Hathaway and James Franco did an excellent job of hosting as well!

This is a great site that has several different highlight videos. From the opening monologue, to Kirk Douglas hitting on Anne Hathaway, to a video medley of some films autotuned. I highly recommend it!: http://www.salon.com/entertainment/feature/2011/02/28/2011_oscar_video_highlights/

Gaby, here is Colin Firth's speech, it was so sincere, funny and just all around great: http://video.aol.com/video/colin-firth-on-83rd-annual-academy-awards-022711-tv-replay/2759871687

So overall, I got 15/24 of the awards right! I completely guessed on some of them and a few of them, after I had made selections I realized "well duh of course that other one would win!" Those of you that watched, how did you do?

Thanks for posting up all the winners Chandra :D

Oh and I don't know why I said I haven't seen any of the films in question. I have seen toy story 3 loads of times haha. But apart from that none of them.

Colin Firth looked really emotional giving his speech I thought.

Chandra, your enthusiasm for the Oscar's, along with your Mum, make it far more exciting than it would normally be for me. You did very well in the "main" categories...the ones that really count!

Thanks for making this fun!

Tracy, I think most of us feel the same way you do about Colin. I can't wait to see the King's Speech. I'm not that interested in the other ones that were nominated.

Chandra, this will be a great reference tool for me when I decide which films I'm going to see. I think the one with Annette Benning sounds interesting as well.

Definitely a film worth the awards it got

Glad everyone enjoyed the posts!

I still need to see 'The King's Speech' as well several other films that were nominated. I have yet to see 'Toy Story 3'!!! I even babysat some kids and the son watched the first two when he was home sick one day. It was so cute because he was telling me the whole story and I was just thinking, "yes I know, I was alive when these were made...." :P.

Deborah, I was so excited to see 'The Kids Are Alright' so I hope you get around to seeing it. I'd be interested to know what you think of it.

Man if only movies didn't have to be so expensive. I swear my list keeps growing and growing each year!
