Awww, hehe, thanks Ben! I also love listening to other peoples' accents. :D
I've been re-watching the video where Saffy goes inside the basket and it looks like Saffy was checking on Pingu, checking if the bed was soft, then moving Pingu a bit so she an come in, and then snuggle next to him!

Pingu looked like he coped very well with his visit. He didn't seem worried at all by being away from his mum. Saffy was a very good girl looking after him too. It looks like they're bonding already. What a sweet video.

How sweet! Saffy looks huge next to Pingu, hehe.
Saffy is going to make an excellent big sister! You've raised her well!

I bet you're even more excited to bring Pingu home (for good), after that 3 hour visit. :)

Yes, Saffy just has a great personality, so fun and lively. She's always been very social to all humans and dogs(except dogs that bark at her in a non-friendly way...then she gets scared). Since she's SO friendly I thought hopefully she's not TOO in-your-face to Pingu because he might get intimidated. But no, she was GREAT! Calm, sweet and actually gave him PERSONAL SPACE!(which is a first!)

I was also very surprised at Pingu because he was SUCH a good little boy, no whining what-so-ever! He LOVED crawling in my hair and nearly fell asleep...I think maybe it was because my hair is black(the same colour as his mum).
My friend who is also adopting one of the siblings(she's naming her dog Marli, the runt girl) also had the pup for 3hours and she said she was crying non-stop.... I'm always visiting Pingu and the pups are very used to being handled which is good! And when we returned Pingu, Saffy went back on her pink blanket and was rolling all over it, happy to be laying on it. And she loved smelling it too. :)

Hey everyone!
Well good news but it comes with patience....

Good news- Today Saffy got desexed. She will be in intense care and strictly monitored for 10 days.... which we were going to get Pingu in a week time. We have moved his date from Friday 18th March to the next Friday because Saffy will still need to be carefully watched and a new puppy will not help in this situation. Saffy needs to be calm, relaxed and not run around going crazy... which is what she normally does. So the new exciting little Pingu will have to wait.

So Pingu will be coming home on the Friday 25th March. So then Saffy will be normal and we won't need to worry about her opening her staples....
It's going to be hard work, even our vet said that after the second day Saffy will want to jump and play...

Also on other news, I'm going to be getting work experience at our veterinarian clinic! Our vet Dr. David is also the owner and throughout all of 17years of having Pants he has been our vet...(before I was born).
We asked him if I could do work experience there. They don't accept high school students except all the staff know me and Saffy(she's very popular because she loveseveryone  ) since we like to go there all the time they said yes!!!! 8)

On other news before we went to pick up Saffy from the vet after school I went to see Pingu, and BOY HAS HE GROWN! Every time I see him he gets so much more cuter and more beautiful! His colours are just AMAZING and so different to his siblings and both parents too! So that's kind of weird...

Louise, Congrats on the job at your vet's office, that is so exciting. When do you start?

I hope Saffy is doing well today.
It's always hard to keep them calm after surgery, holding off on Pingu's homecoming is a good idea.

Sending healing waves to Saffy! That was smart to hold off on bringing home Pingu until after Saffy has fully healed. Can't wait to see more pics of him and Saffy together!

So it's 1 week until Pingu comes home! I visited him today and boy has he grown! He is 1/3 the size of his mummy!!! Small breeds grow SOOO FAST! Today when I went there, there was only 3 puppies! 3 went to their homes today. Pingu is the odd one out, he's a totally different colour and his fur is fluffy/long when the rest are black short haired.

Also his nickname is Tiger. HE IS BRINDLE!!!
I think he looks more like a lion colour than tiger but the patterns are AMAZING! I forgot to bring a camera but when he comes home I'll have loads!

This weekend it's assignments!!! I'm glad I get this weekend NEW-PUPPY-FREE so I can focus on assignments, and they will be done all next week! So when Pingu comes I have LOADS of FREE TIME!

PS- Saffy has done well with healing so far... after 2 days she was back to normal which made life more harder because she wanted to jump and play when she needed to rest and relax. Now it's been 7 days and I can't wait to get back to her normal routine of daily walks and CRAZY-FUN PLAYTIME!  :P (But she has to wait another 3days for when that can start)

DAY 1 of her night of the operation-
It was so sad because she was crying ALL night and I felt SO bad. I ended up getting the sleeping bag and laying on the cold, hard, bathroom floor. Right next to her.... but it did make her happy so I was happy. But my mum wasn't happy when she found me there the next morning so in my bedroom I have a mattress on the floor so Saffy can sleep with me without jumping on and off the bed because my bed is high. She HATED her Elizabethan Collar..... HATED IT. But she was SO adorable because she didn't know how to walk with it at first and just stood there with her head hanging down... SO SAD and SO CUTE! It was SO BIG too! In the end she was used to it and walking like normal.

And I can't believe Saffy is so little!!! I have always been guessing she was 11kg(24lbs) but she is only 9.5kg(20lbs)! She is so small and cute, she'll only end up to be around 13kg(28lbs).

Louise, How sweet of you to sleep with Saffy on the floor all night. I'm glad she's healing well.
She's much smaller than I thought her to be.

I am so excited for Pingu's homecoming, I'm looking forward to hearing all about his adventures with his big sister Saffy.
