Kwak Photo Adventures (Cruise to Mex)

Postby kriswak on Sun Apr 10, 2011 7:52 pm

So today I had my photography field trip to the Fullerton Arboretum. It's only 15 minutes from my house and I never knew it existed. I took a lot of photos. Here are some (ok maybe a lot) of my favorites

Nice shots Kris!

I really like the white rose with the yellow background...and the duck family...and the close-up of the water rushing over the rocks...they're all great!

I know I probably posted too many photos. But I liked so many I couldn't decide.

FYI. the yellow behind the rose is just a piece of construction paper.

And the Rose with a pink hue is using a piece of red construction paper to bounce some light on it.

Great photos Kwak!!! I agree you couldn't post too many. More more!!!

My favorites are the yucca plant, the rose with the yellow background and the purple flower.

I love that yucca plant photo. You captured it so that it seems to move when looking at the photo. Awesome!!

OK, since you asked for more, here are some more.
I don't think these are the best. But they are OK.
I have more, but they were just variations of the ones I already posted.
I think the only dup I'm posting here is the bee one, but it's a different shot. I took so many pics of that dang bee. And I loved them all.

Class is over
No we never had any pictures critiqued. Part of me wishes we did. But then again that would have taken time away from the lessons.

But if you want you can critique them for me.

That was a one time shot on the humming bird. I saw it. adjusted my shutter speed. Took it.
Than waited in that area for a long time hoping it would come back. But it never did.

Maybe the shutter speed could have been a bit faster. But over all I'm pleased with it.
