Kian, I am so sorry I missed the big announcement! Congratulations on "Banjo Jack". I am so excited for you. He is just precious. Banjo reminds me of Bingo, as in "....and Bingo was his name-o".

I did see the photograph in the other thread of your neighbour's Donkey...lovely!

Congrats on Banjo Jack! While he is so freaking adorable, I can't say I have ever had a desire to own a donkey Can't wait to hear about him more when he comes home!

I am livestock lovin freak and add anything Equine like Phyrie says, I'm there. Took OH to meet the little guy and he likes him.
He took a look at their setup, it is quite nice. I see more than one in my future I'm afraid. They are so sweet and social, they like to be with a buddy even if it might be a Mini Goat, which I am looking at tomorrow.

Also, I've seen the lap giraffe link before. In fact, for a few days I just kept the webcam up on my computer for a while just watching the little guy. I wish it was real. I would get one in a heartbeat. But the fact that they came up with this idea and the website is just genius!
A lap giraffe would be the perfect friend for Banjo Jack! Lol

I am just catching up on this thread and am so excited that you have decided to get the little donkey, Banjo. Yahoo! He is just beyond adorable and a good start to your mini farm. Have Ice and Allie gotten to meet him yet? I know the grands will literally go balistic over him and you will probably have them wanting to stay with grandma all the time.

I've been visiting Banjo when I can get up there, so tonight I took the camera. It was hard to get good pics as he wanted to be right with me, these donkeys are that way and very sociable.



He is so full of himself!

I went down to see my goat today as well. The owners let me go on in and I was greeted by the Honking and HIssing Goose parade.

I love their Turkey, he is beautiful and permanently pardoned. No dinner here!



The goat pen, they are all so friendly and gave me quite the greeting.

His daddy, he is friendly but stinks like a male goat.


It was hard to get good pics as I was facing the setting sun, I needed to move to the other side and was greeted by the Goose Parade!


I tried to get close and chase them off I was hissed at (how dare they!)


No good pictures, they wouldn't budge.

Banjo Jack is adorable as is the little goat. Have you thought of a name for the goat yet? The guard ducks were just letting you know it was their territory. LOL Good picture of the lucky turkey, as well.

Last night I thought of the name "Scout" for the goat, not set in stone yet. Many farmers use geese as "watchdogs", they can be quite mean. These are Toulouse and not as aggressive as Africans which will go after a person.

Oh Banjo is so adorable!! The baby goat is too cute for words!! Aren't geese wonderful? What other mini animals can you add to your mini farm? Mini lop rabbits? I love those!
