Robeson Humane Society

Postby Robeson Humane Society on Wed May 04, 2011 8:47 pm

Hi everybody, we are new to Daily Puppy and are, as always, trying to find the perfect forever home for our babies.

We are a non-profit, no kill shelter located in Lumberton, North Carolina. Our animals are spayed or neutered and fully vaccinated before they leave our shelter. If they are too young then the adopter will receive a spay/neuter voucher. We spend alot of time and effort making sure we find the perfect home for all our animals. We do have transports that leave once a month that go to the New England area. Our adoption process consists of filling out an adoption application and agreement. Our committee will review the application and then contact the adopter with reference information and to tell the adopter if they have been approved. We love all of our babies that come through the Humane society and try to help find the best dog for the adopter.

We are always accepting donations of any kind. Also we are in need of foster parents that are located in Robeson County. As many of you know, it is puppy season and we have people that are wanting us to take whole litters. Due to our limited space, we can only take so many. Please help us find a perfect home that loves and cares for the babies, just as much as we do.

Please visit our website http://www.robesonhumanesociety.org click adopt then follow the instructions to fill out an application. Or call 910-738-8282 for further information. We also have a facebook page- Robeson County Humane Society. If you are interested in any animal listed please directly email kellyatseabird01@yahoo.com

We wish you every success with your endeavours to find loving, forever homes for all of the wonderful angels that you help. I am going to also split this post with the Introduction Section so that more people can find you, and welcome you.

I have exchanged PM's with the Robeson Humane Society, and they have been extremely forthcoming. They have some wonderful dogs that need good homes and if the Daily Puppy can help in some way, that would be wonderful.

I can also vouch for Robeson! While our rescue has not been able to pull from them ourselves, we are familiar with them and often see their pleas cross posted through e-mail and Facebook.

That is high praise indeed, as Lynners has been a huge force in the Rescue community, having Fostered many, many dogs herself, as well as volunteer for a Rescue Agency here in Ontario, that helps bring dogs into Canada from over crowded shelters and high kill shelters in the States.

Kayla is the "contact" at Robeson and has been an absolute delight. Now we need to work on photos, like the ones we saw on today's Front Page for both the Puppy of the Day and the Grown Up Puppy of Day so these darlings can be featured!

Lynners, thanks so much for weighing in. :D

I noticed the other day that the contact name was no longer Kayla, but was Kelly, I believe. I hope I'm not mucking things about for you.

I am sure you must have noticed by now that we regulars refer to one another by our first names, for the most part, as it makes it easier. You do not have to do that if you don't wish. I'm glad the word is getting out about your rescue and I hope it leads to more dogs finding their loving, safe, forever homes.

Kelly is actually the humane society manager, so I decided to place her contact information as well, just in case. Anybody that is interested and wants to private message me directly on this website is more than welcome :D I can answer alot of the questions and know these babies inside and out. We are hoping to add some more cuties up here soon. We just had a Beagle give birth to a litter of puppies and they are absolutely adorable!
