I've never been much of a "farm" person, but Banjo is so adorable!!! It makes me kinda think a mini farm would be very cool.

Today was the coming home for Scout! With Allies crate in the car, she fit in it perfect. She cried nearly all the way home and did settle down about a mile from home. I've been sitting with her in her pen doing some imprinting and did let the dogs meet her for a brief moment. Allie seems fine, the wild child......enough said. With the Fox lurking at night, she will be in Allies crate in the house at night until Banjo and his mom come home. Donkeys are great at keeping the Fox away and until I can get the dogs use to her they will of course help with the Fox alarm.

While waiting for pics to unload I took Allie out with me to the pen, she licked her and was just fine with her. She did turn and make a run for the "GoatGloo" in which she turned and butted at Allie. Soon she will think she is a dog just like my Maggie did.

Oh, Kian, she has the sweetest face! Your little farm is shaping very nicely! While we're waiting for Banjo to come home, maybe you should consider some birds. I'm thinking a few chickens (to scatter humourously in the yard when visitors drive in) and a bossy goose or two, to keep everyone on their toes! *vbg* I can't remember if you have a pond, but if you do, a couple of ducks would be great, for their funny conversations, as well as those delicious eggs!

Thanks everyone, she is already showing a fun personality.

Great progress on her first day home, she is now walking on a leash with me and I let her have full run of the backyard so OH could see her run. He hadn't seen her until today and she followed me all over the yard, running and hopping. I had pics, but I accidentally deleted them. I will get more tommorrow!
