Thanks for the birthday wishes for Sadie! She had a good birthday weekend, we kept her very busy! I think she was ready for us to go back to work today

RJM, you didn't actually miss her birthday, but that was sweet . Since we don't know her actual date of birth, but know it was somewhere between the middle and end of May, we just pick a day to celebrate. I actually chose the 25th as her birthday, but if the weekend before works better thats when we celebrate it.

And she still loves that new toy!

Late last night when I finally decided it was time to go to bed , Sadie decided to be very cute. Thank goodness the camera was on top of the TV console, nice and handy!

Here she is half asleep, I tried to quietly get her photo. Notice she moved the couch covers around to her liking

Linda, what a lovely series of photos, made better by your hilarious comments. Of course our dogs speak to us, and yes we do know what they're saying!

I also thought Sadie's one ear up, one ear down looks absolutely adorable. It's fitting with the idea of just being awoken, rudely, by Mum and the camera. "Mum, don't, I have bedhead!".

Every time I see new pictures of Sadie, I am impressed by how lovely her coat is and how happy she looks. There is a contentment in her eyes these days. While puppies are lovely and delightful, there is something wonderful about their maturation. Life just becomes a bit easier.

She's been putting one ear up more often since her ears have cleared up inside! That was an ongoing battle that I now think may have been related to allergies too. (But not positive!)

I snapped a few photos of Sadie today when I was taking flower photos.

I really liked this one, its her "Schmoozing Look"!

Isn't it funny how we come up with special, silly names for the loving we receive?! Sadie is SO sweet. ♥

My what sweet pictures! I love the belly up on the couch, who can resist. The schmoozing is the best "please mom give me a pat"!
