Linda...I look like Oliver with my one "wonky eye" in that picture! Elliot and I burst out laughing when we saw that picture. He absolutely forbid me from saying anything nasty about myself. Sometimes though, those "candid" photos are the least flattering. LOL!!!!!

You do give some of the best hugs I've ever had, so I'll let that photo go and just live with it.

Angie, I loved your Marineland Video! You captured the beauty of it all, and I thought the music you chose was perfect. Elliot just interjected that you give "pretty good hugs too". :D

We did have such a good time. A week ago today at this moment, we were all in my room just starting to engage in "Livin' La Vida Loca". My cheeks are hurting from smiling so hard at all the pictures and videos. The memories come flooding back.

Elliot just said that it would be so nice if we all lived closer so we could see each other all the time. I agree.

Again, I'm way too late on here. I have to go through this thread again as I just did a cursory glance to show Elliot.

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada July 2011 will definitely go down as one of, if not, the best vacations I've ever had. It afforded me the luxury of meeting with all of you which is priceless, as well as a chance to spend some time with my son, just the two of us. Benjamin has indicated that he would like to come on the next DP excursion if his life and obligations permit at that time. (He's a good boy too.)

I'm so glad that everyone else is enjoying the photos and videos. This sojourn was meant to be all inclusive of our DP friends, and not exclusive to only those who were able to attend.

Linda, I may still be able to find, but I'm not sure, more hidden gems that might include you! :P We'll see what happens.

I miss everyone tonight, and am grateful to know what that feels like.

I'm finally HOME!!! I will be posting photos later tomorrow.
I'm not picking up the dogs until tomorrow. So I have one more sleep before I see my babies.
I'm going to have to look at all the pics and videos on this thread again. As I haven't really had time to really enjoy them.

I'm happy to say my two bottles of wine made it home safely too. So tomorrow as I go through my pictures of DP takes Niagara 2011 , I can do so drinking come Canadian wine.

Welcome home Kris! I can't wait to see your photos

Deb, you can post any goofy picture of me that you want. I am notorious for looking goofy in photos without even trying :?

I don't see what you're talking about and I didn't mean to embarrass you if I did. I really do like this photo of you two    I really really do! Two beautiful women who are two great friends!

I'm glad you enjoyed the hugs 8) . I like really good hugs too. You and Elliot gave very good heartfelt hugs too, I loved it!
I can remember each hug from each person, oh how I love you all!!! Thank goodness we have this forum to keep in touch.

Linda darling, I know you would never post a picture with the intent of embarrassing anyone! With the lighting and my apparent "glow" from the evening, I look a bit like Oliver and that's fine because he is cute. I know I keep mentioning it, but Elliot really did have a terrific time.

I was certain that he would become "restless" with us adults and all of our plans, but he was well aware of the reason for the trip and tells me that he loved, loved, loved it all. Linda, you give great hugs, you tiny slip of a thing! The only thing I could truly lament, but I won't, is the lack of individual time with each of you. As I said though, this will go down in history as one of the best vacations I ever had. Del was such a trooper and had such a positive attitude towards it all. I enjoyed having a chance to chat with him on that first night while we both indulged ourselves in our filthy habit.

With the exception of the Dinner, it was lovely, as Angie pointed out, to each be able to select the activities in which we wished to participate, with no hurt feelings! That is perhaps the most "mature" vacation I've been on with other friends, which made it that much more special.

I look like I'm half in the bag in that photo Linda, and the party hadn't even really started yet!!!! A week later, I am grateful for every single image! By the way Linda, you never look "goofy" in any of your pictures, so just stop that. I know you are saying the same to me. :P

Kwak, I am glad you made it home safely. We were talking about you on Friday as my lawyer has a cottage on the Bruce and I told him of your excursion. I can't wait to see your pictures, and again, thank you for all you did for the trip!

As far as I know, Phyrie and Paul (as well as her Mum) are still the only ones "on the road". I can't wait to see her pictures as well.

It's almost like a dream. As we made our plans to be there, and they slowly came together, it was rather surreal to actually see everyone on the first night. I keep reliving it in my mind as that's the best experience I've had in a very long time.

Thank You! ♥

Kwak, those are amazing photos so far! You really did capture the Falls very well. Elliot and I were having a hard time with the fireworks being inside, as well as probably not using the right setting, or thingy.

I love the Butterfly pictures! I can't wait to see more once you are settled,

Welcome Home!

Kwak, I love the picture of the Butter Twins. They are just too cute together and all the rest of the pictures are great. I enjoyed the pictures of the falls and fireworks and you got some great pictures of the gang.

WELCOME HOME KRIS!! Glad your wine made it home in one piece. I love your pictures, the falls are so soft and amazing.
You got great pics at the butterfly conservatory. You are very talented with that camera!

I read where the Mini Farm was mentioned as a possibility and of course I would LOVE that. Keep in mind it is a work in progress and over 3 hours from the airport unless flying into Durango which is always more money and connections. I know it is a long way south for many but Allie and Ice would love the attention and we should have a new baby on the ground! I know Nashville was mentioned as was Napa Valley in Calif a great place for the wine tasters. Vancouver was mentioned as well, that would be fun as if the dates are right, OH and I may plan on a Alaskan cruise, a possibility for those wanting to join us! We don't know, I don't want to work in the spring and summer, getting the kennel going is still in the plans.

I have been extremely busy since returning home as we turned around and left for 5 days, so there was lots of cleaning and still grocery shopping to do. I finally took the time to load some pics, I could still clean while PB was loading.

I won't post all of them at once. Here is the first day meet up, that was so fun!

Here is meeting Jose, I just love the excitement in Phyrie!

Kian, I am enjoying your pictures!

It took me a minute with the first few to figure out how you were in the pictures you posted, and then I remembered the mini-tri-pod. Dohf!

I know it will take some time to sort through all of your pictures, but we'd love to see some of you and Linda, at Linda's house before you set off for Niagara, if any were taken, and if it's alright with Linda. I think it was quite late when you arrived there.

I just want to see everyone's pictures of everything. I love reliving it.

I am so enjoying everyone's pictures. It is so interesting to see the activities from everyone's individual eyes. Kian, I loved all of your shots and hope you will post many more. Jose and Gizzie held the limelight, to be sure.
