Miss you lots.

Postby LuckyLou on Sun Jul 17, 2011 12:13 am

Lucky passed away April 17th, and I still miss her dearly. She was part Collie and part Lab, the best dog in the world. Lucky was 13, but a puppy at heart  We found out she had cancer a week before she passed away. Even when we took her home after the vet told us what was wrong, she was still her playful self. Lucky gave kisses to everyone she could, and snuggled all the time. She truly was the best dog I could of ever asked for, and I miss her everyday. I know she's up there somewhere playing pass and chewing on her favorite tug-o-war toy, just watching over us from above. Casey misses her best friend Lucky! Love you girl

My most heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dog to cancer. We never really get over the loss but with time, the memories override the pain of loss. The sweet memories wil remain forever.

Unfortunately, most of us have been where you are, so please know that you have our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences.

Time heals all wounds which is hard to believe when the pain is still so raw. I hope you can find peace and comfort in the coming days and months knowing you did all you could.

My heart goes out to you. When the time is right, perhaps another little new one will help fill the void, even though there is no such thing as a replacement. Bless you, and your family at this trying time.

we just recenly (about a month and a half ago) were forced to put our 12 year old Black Lab down. She was the love of my life. (we do have 3 other dogs) so I really understand about your loss. And am very very sorry about it. Dakota had been through alot with me. Cancer twice so she held a special place in my heart. No matter what kind of a bad day you might be having it seems that they know and with just a look can let you know things are going to be ok..

My aunt just had to put down Casey, her black labrador retriever because of a tumour. I miss Casey about as much as my aunt does
