new puppy love

after our tragic loss of Lucky and Scooter.....we have found new puppy love. A neighbor's dog has had puppies....and we are smitten. They will never replace Lucky or Scooter but they will be loved in their own happy way! They are about 5 weeks old and still with mom....we have been going to visit them every day! We plan on having them vaccinated BEFORE we bring them home (which is still a few weeks away)....We even have names picked out already....Triscuit and Waffles!!! They have started to recognize us when we go to visit them....and their mom is AWESOME! Super protective of them! Willie is happily awaiting new friends to play with and so are we!!!! One whiff of that puppy breath....and that's all you need!!!

yes, we are gonna have a handful!!! but what fun!!!! we just LOVE puppies and are sooo anxiously awaiting their arrival!!!! just a few more weeks......

Well, we have been visiting our pups DAILY!!! lol. they know who we are, which is an awesome feeling. We should be able to bring them home in two weeks!!!!!!!

How exciting! I think it's sweet and wonderful that the pups are beginning to know you already. That will make their transition far less traumatic.

i honestly can't say for sure what kind of dogs they are....the mother and father both appear to be a mix of some terrier. The mother is brindle in color (and she is such a good mom, it's so cute) and the father is brown and white....Neither the mother or the father are very large. Mom is small/medium and dad is more medium in size. They are soooo adorable though!!!
