Admittedly, this is in the photography thread too, but I think it belongs in here as it is a more updated picture of me than the one already in here (and I've changed a bit) and it isn't often I take a picture of myself that I don't want to BURN and stomp on.

Margie and Gaby, I too dislike virtually every photo of me ever taken. The only good thing about getting older is that I now don't mind the ones of me when I was younger (20ish). We're never satisfied so I've been learning to roll with it.

Margie, you are beautiful! I know this to be a fact as I've met you, and hugged you. ♥

Gaby, I think that is a very flattering photo of you. Trust me, when you're my age, you will look at that photo and say "wow, I was hot back then".

Beauty comes from within! I'm sure we've all met a person who looks attractive at first blush, but once they open their mouth to speak, or their personality becomes known, they are most unattractive. It's a two way street! Some people may appear to be more plain than others, and once one knows that person, they see all the beauty that lies within.

I actually don't hate my looks THAT much, I would just like to lose weight and also sort out my skin (I have very very soft skin......BUT I'm a typical 'spotty teenager' (though just on my face thankfully) and I hate being a 'typical' anything ) But I like being different, and I like to wear and do (though not bad things to other people XD) whatever I want. Like, my dad thinks I wanted my eyebrow pierced to 'be cool' (????!?!?) or 'rebel' (????????!!!!?!?!?!?!?) lol but actually I just like how they look!

Deb well said. Gaby you are beautiful, I like that picture of you. I knew a really beautiful gal, until I got to know her, she wasn't so pretty then. Talk about attitude and a air of snottiness, no wonder she was in her high 20's, already divorced twice and couldn't keep a boyfriend long. She was NOT someone I liked.
On the flip side, I have a friend who if you saw her and her husband together you would think....mismatch. He is a real looker and she, not so much at all. Once you get to know her, wow, her beauty shines from within! It is a perfect match.
She is someone I like!

My personality is sort of like a left-in-the-sun-then-put-into-the-fridge brownie. You have to deal with the iffy outer shell to get to the nice part. I'd class my looks as average. (Maybe a bit too generous, LOL.)

I don't think anybody likes their own photo. Apart from the people who say "There I am! Right there!"...The people I envy.

The DP should be proud to have the "DP Squad". Good lookin' puppers to go with good lookin' people.
