Louise, I'm having problems viewing videos on YouTube again, but I'll bookmark it and watch it later. :? :)

All dogs know how to swim, so don't panic. Dogs that "can't swim" simply don't like swimming. They could still do it if needed. All of my Terriers are water dawgs. You'll probably have trouble getting Pingu out of the water. 8)

Louise, Pingu looks just adorable in his Holiday Shirt! Apparently he needed a treat to distract him from trying to take it off. Despite asking Saffy by licking her ear nicely, she was unable to help remove it, and was wearing one of her own!

I know you'll do well at school over the next four weeks. It's ironic to see a blanket in your house with snowmen on it when I know the temps there are not conducive to snow. ENJOY!!! I also hope you have a marvellous holiday and can't wait to see Saffy and Pingu at the beach.

I think Emma is right and that Pingu will take to the water like a duck. I too have not yet met a terrier that doesn't enjoy the water. All dogs know how to swim, but some choose not to or need encouragement. I highly doubt Pingu needs much encouragement for anything that is fun. 8)

I think you will be able to watch the videos....*sigh* computers...
Haha, thinking about it, definitely think Pingu will love it, I honestly think he will go nuts and enjoy it a lot, haha! :D

I'm getting really excited thinking about it! BEACH! The cool thing is the beach that we got to has a beach part and a little stream(low tide) and lagoon. Which I never took Saffy out on the actual beach with the waves, I personally have a fear of waves/tsunamis/drowning etc.... too many drowning nightmares...
So I like to stay in a lagoon the best.

With this video you would need to turn the volume up high since the background music is really quiet.
Song- "Fly me to the Moon" - but a different version by a Korean Singer/Actor Jang Keun Suk.

Oh Louise, you do make the sweetest videos!!! Sweet little Pingu, desperately hoping for that one last belly rub as he drifts off to sleep. My goodness, that melts me.

The thought of the Beach, with a Lagoon is heavenly! While I enjoy the waves, a peaceful Lagoon would be nirvana, especially with the dogs and my family. No wonder you can't wait...I can't wait and I'm not even going. :D

I noticed your comment on the GUPOTD (Grown Up Puppy of the Day) and how much "fun" all of that snow looked. I said to Ben that if I could, I would love to have you come and visit us in January or February for a couple of weeks so you could experience said snow. I'm sure that would "cure" you of the white stuff. 8)

Ironically, on Saturday, I noticed there were "shavings" from the Ice/Hockey/Skating Arena that is very much like real snow and I thought if there were just some way I could bottle it and ship it to you, I would. Then the cost of doing that dawned on me and I realized that it was, as they say, "cost prohibitive".

Back to sweet Pingu...he is just too adorable and seems to have recovered well from his "alteration".

Oh, Pingu...I wish I could snuggle with you! What an adorable video!!

Louise, I am jealous of you and your beach lagoon! I'd love to lounge on the beach with you, Saffy, and Pingu!! As Deb said...we are going into winter....and way too much snow. Some areas here in the Northeastern area of the US had TONS of snow over the weekend. Thankfully....not me! Someday, I do hope you get to experience it!

Margie, I can just see Louise thoroughly enjoying a lovely afternoon of really, good tobogganing, as well as making Snow Angels, followed by some really good Hot Chocolate, made with milk on the stove. :D

We used to sit on the radiator (huge long metal one) in the kitchen and warm our behinds while Mum made the Hot Chocolate. :?

Louise will be enjoying a Lagoon, with Tropical Plants and white sand. That sounds so heavenly to me whilst adding Saffy and Pingu to the mix, equals perfection. 8)

Everyone should experience both, hopefully, at some point in their lifetime.

Deb- Haha thanks, Pingu actually sleeps on his back with his legs spread out to the sides with his paws sticking up ~ SO ADORABLE! :P Yes, the lagoon is definitely the best, last time I took Saffy to the beach was on Australia Day this year (January 26th) and all the beaches we went to were packed! But we only went to Innes Park Beach because that's the only dog beach. I saw a few Staffies on boogie-boards, riding the waves!!! SO TALENTED!!! HAHA! I don't think I'll ever do that with Saffy or Pingu.... Haha- that though is nice although if you did that I would receive a bottle of water... it would melt in seconds in the heat over here...(your winter-our summer) Hehe. 8)
~Haha Deb, I had to google "tobogganing" .... I feel dumb, haha. Wow, all of that sounds really fun, and then cosy!!!

Margie- Thankyou, he is getting MUCH MORE snugly. He hated cuddles before... now he is getting better or more like "accepting the fact that in our household he will always get cuddles" hehe. Wow, snow already? I guess, since it's already super hot over here. But what month(s) does snow start falling in? And don't worry, one day when I get older and have some money I want to travel somewhere to be in snow!!!

Louise, I should have said "sledding", but we "Canucks" (nick name for Canadians) call it plain, old fashioned "tobogganing". It is fun, especially on nights that aren't too cold, with a full moon, in the Country. Everything is white, and so quiet. The stars are very bright, and if one bundles up properly, it's a lot of fun. :D

Back to the Lagoon!!!! That reminds me of Gilligan's Island, the old TV show. It's amazing that they could make a radio, but never get off of the darned Island. You may not even know that show. I know Margie does!

Depending on where one lives, depends on the first snowfall. Typically in our large geographical area, the first snow might be in November, or December. This year, part of the North East U.S. had a monster storm, much like we did 2 years ago prior to the leaves falling, which breaks branches and power lines. 1,000,000 are still without power after a week!

Every year we hope for a White Christmas, (and then it can all melt) but nothing is prettier on Christmas Eve than large, white flakes of snow falling and Christmas Carols playing while I furiously wrap gifts. The major snow usually start in January, but lately we've had it earlier and earlier. The further north one goes (obviously) the sooner the snow flies and the longer it lasts. I'm in the Great Lakes Basin, and Margie is in Vermont. You should Google that general area and see how far apart we really are. It's at least a 10 hour drive from my house to hers, and yet our weather is more or less very similar.

Sorry for the boring "Weather Report"!

If I were able to send you snow, it would have to be in a freezer compartment the whole way, as is our Lamb from NZ!!!! I know it is possible, but very cost prohibitive.

Wow, I haven't been on dailypuppy for a while, I have been REALLY busy with school, this Thursday will be my last day of school for the year then it is SUMMER/CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS! Then in late January, I'm back to school and then beginning year 11. :P

All I have is 3 more assessment - My Modelling Process & Problem Solving Maths Test (I finished the knowledge Maths Test) My 5 Geography/Tourism Assignments need to be handed in, and then hand in my basket and blanket crochet, scarf and my doll that I made fully dressed for Early Childhood Practices. (The basket was not part of my assignment, I just newly learned how to crochet, but I accidentally made this awesome basket by trying to start off a blanket by myself, haha - it obviously didn't turn out to be a blanket).

I have finally started walking Saffy & Pingu every day now since I am not busy! YAY! So I have started to relax since assessment is nearly done and the pressure is dropping, so more quality time with the beautiful babies!!! :D :)

So the Latest Videos that I have uploaded I haven't put the link up here on Dailypuppy, but there are 3 videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PiG6ES0I8I
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5I0g-JED-E
With this video being uploaded a few hours ago...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mCopiVMhIU
And WOW, I really can't believe I am already up to 90 videos!!! That's a lot of videos, although it really doesn't seem that I have added that many videos! Hahaha. But I will still add more videos since, Saffy & Pingu always entertain me and I guess the people that enjoy watching their videos (I hope) Haha. :)

I just took a few pictures last night of Saffy & Pingu so I thought I might share and a few from the other day.

LOL Louise!!! I have missed you, and your lovely sense of humour!

I haven't watched the videos yet, but I did love the photos! Both Saffy and Pingu look as though they've grown up so much in the short time you've been away. I love Pingu's "radar ears" and Saffy is as sweet as ever.

Your new sheets are beautiful, as are your fairy drapes. I am assuming (which is never a good idea) that they are in the same room. I'll look at the videos when it isn't so late here, and I have time to enjoy them.

That is terrific news about your school term drawing to a close in time for Summer Vacay and Christmas Holidays. In the Northern Hemisphere, that would be an oxymoron. :D

You have been missed! ♥

Haha, and your "assumption" was wrong :P The fairy curtains is my mum's room, I have (go checks room) ..... -_-
I actually have fairy curtains too! Haha, I never noticed, but yea, the hot pink fairy curtains are my mums, hehe.

Louise, I learned once again to never ASSume! I think it's lovely that you both have fairy curtains. :D

You are hysterically funny to me sometimes. It is the innocence of your statements, as well as your known intelligence that amuses me so much. "I started a blanket and it turned into a Basket". That is funny!!!! Been there/done that, only slightly differently, but same theme.

You also seem to understand my sense of humour, so it's all good. I forgot to mention that I also loved the photo of Pingu sitting upright with his eyes closed. Both of your dogs are so, so sweet and as usual, are a reflection of their lovely human(s).

Haha, thanks Deb.

Well school is over, YAY! My last day of school was on Wednesday, the last few days I've been walking Saffy & Pingu SO MUCH MORE now!!! Which is awesome! WIN-WIN for everyone. So since I have lots of free time I seriously started my Korean learning... I am VERY VERY VERY slowly learning how to READ Korean... :?
It is so hard, haha. Speaking it = EASY. Listening to it and know what it means = OKAY. Reading Hangul = fasoivbxeu!!! :o .... But don't even talk about reading Hanja!!! I'm not even goin' there! Hangul & Hanja... BIG DIFFERENCE.
Haha, my process of reading hangul is very slow as I only can remember how to say 1 symbol..... -_-
Which is:
요 which is pronounced as yo, and I see it in the end of nearly EVERY word or phrase like:
Sae hae bok man i badeuseyo \ New Year luck a lot please receive
(Which this basically means "Happy New Year")
OR
Annyeong haseyo \ Hello
ANYWAYS~

Haha, don't dis my work since I only had 4 weeks to do learn and do it all...! :P
Haha, you DO NOT want to see my practice scarf!!! I dropped stitches, added on stitches... BLAH!
Plus I got rid of that thing...

The End Product!!!

(If you noticed the fairy background Deb - those are my curtains  )

So my doll was made of scratch, so the actual body we had to sew and stuff, which was the most longest step of making the doll. I just draw on the eyes, trying to make it look like an anime character of some sort... not sure if it turned out well, but at least it looks cute. Since I really didn't want button eyes like everyone else. 8) The outfit was meant to be like a "Sailor Moon" outfit fro ma Japanese Anime I used to watch when I was young.... haha. Without the navy material scarf it looks like a jail outfit. But overall, I think the doll turning out looking more Harry-Potterish looking, haha.
Also I planned to have the crotchet blanket and the knitted scarf match the clothing of the doll, yeah. I didn't stick to the plan, but I happy with the results.

..... Just waiting for a day mum is off work, and then THE BEACH!
Not excited for "THE beach" but for my beautiful babies having fun swimming and cooling off in the WAVE-FREE beach(lagoon), haha! :P

Louise it is always fun to read your thread and now learning Korean, wow that is amazing. Korean is very hard to learn, I admire that and I love your bedding in the videos. The pups look great, my Pingu has grown.

You are so crafty, very nice crochet work!

A day at the beach or lagoon sounds nice, my pups love the River, mostly Ice. Now it is Winter here and way too cold, he still wants to dive right in. Of course I won't let him till Spring now, much to his dismay.

Louise, I really enjoyed your latest post! You have worked very hard on your crafts, and did very well! I am quite familiar with Sailor Moon as Ben (he would kill me if he knew I told anyone) loved that show when he was quite little. He loved a lot of the Japanese Anime shows.

Pingu is growing up so fast. He loves you so much, and is such a good boy. I also thought your sheets were beautiful!

Wow, learning not only to speak but to read Korean, whichever dialect, must be challenging. I'll have to re-read the greeting as my local shop owner is Korean, and he tries so hard to speak English, and does quite well. I would love to greet him one day in his language.

Enjoy your vacay, at the Lagoon (that reminds me of Gilligan's Island) and Christmas and time off from school.
