Oh, RJM.....I have never seen this thread - so I read all of it. I had a good cry before I could post.

Joey was such a beatiful boy. I can imagine how difficult that day was for you and HO.

Brenda is right: Joey is waiting for you - happy and healthy, playing with Morty, Onyx, and Bumble. Sending lots of love and hugs to you.

I never realized he was "Joseph Ronald Schmiggly". I can't even believe it's been two years already. It was such a shock. I know he was there to greet Bumble, with Morty and Onyx, and all the others that were loved and went before. I am sending you huge hugs angel.

When you first joined, your user "nick name" quickly became RJM, which initially stood for "Ruby Jean's Mom". To me, it also stood for Ruby, Joey and Morty. RJM means all of them to me. I even remember the first pictures you posted, and video. I think Ruby was chasing Joey, or the other way around throughout the house and Morty was just watching the shenanigans staying close to Mum.

You do come up with the very best names for your dogs. :D As long as he is your memory, and ours, he is forever with us. He went first to make a home for Morty and Bumble, and Onyx was there, just as she was at the very beginning, to show him the ropes at the Rainbow Bridge.

You have my love and huge hugs. It would have been Emma's 24th Birthday on November 1st. I still think of her constantly, as you know. As Tracy always says, dogs live shorter lives than we do so we can love more of them. She is so right.

I also just read through this thread. I think I joined--or at least started to read the forums--right about this time. Poor Joey.

What an adorable puppy he was--he was even smaller than Morty! He had a wonderful life with you and the HO, RJM.

2 years, hard to believe. I just smiled through your slide show, that was nice to see. He was such a little puppy and very much loved. I do love the names you give your dogs.

I'm sure Joey is playing with all the others that were loved and lucky to be in your care. I'm sure he is with you in Spirit and knows of your love. He was a very lucky puppy to have you and the HO. ♥♥♥
