new puppy love

finally feeling back to my old self today!! Waffles is better today,too. My DOH had given the boys a rib bone the other day while i was sick!!!! Apparently, it didn't bother Triscuits' belly but definately did not agree with little Waffles. He is better today, thankfully!! And i meant to have some new pics up today also but our laptop has died and we've had to pull out an old desktop that does not have an input for the memory stick in our camera So, until this little problem is fixed...no new pics.

Triscuit and Waffles have both learned "NO" and "COME"!!! Still having some accidents around the house...but i expect that. They have learned all about the wonderful room called "The Kitchen" Lots of good smells come from "The Kitchen". They have learned how to hop the step at the back door to get in and out of the house. Waffles is still a little smaller,so today when he went to follow Triscuit back inside...he couldn't quite make it all the way up onto the stoop. Triscuit came back outside, got behind Waffles and nudged him with his nose as if to say "you could do it". and sure enough, Waffles hopped right on up and the two went running inside!! It was very preciously cute!!!

Vanessa, I can only imagine how cute it was to see Triscuit giving Waffles a hand/nudge! That is just adorable. ♥

I'm glad you are feeling better today, and that the pups are also. I hope you manage to sort your computer issues so that we can see pictures! Keep taking them even if they can't be posted just yet. We'll enjoy catching up.

i know it's been a long time since i've posted...but things have been BUSY around here....with life stuff and puppy stuff...but all fun stuff, none the less!!! life has been just peachy and i couldn't be happier!! The puppies have gotten so big now and love to play, play, play....!!! Fall has been super colorful this year and we are gettin ready for winter! Today, i took a video of the pups playing....here is a link....

Hi Vanessa, I was just thinking about you and your pups the other day.

Holy Cow, they sure have gotten big, and Triscuit is a little pistol, keeping Waffles pinned to the ground...LOL!
Great video, I really enjoyed watching them roll around in the leaves.

Vanessa, I was also thinking about you on the weekend, as a new member had joined who had adopted two pups at once. I referenced you, without using your name of course, and wondered how Triscuit and Waffles were managing.

That Triscuit is a bossy one indeed, but ultimately Waffles ended up with the prize! They do look as though they are having entirely too much fun.

You sound wonderful which is lovely to hear. We've missed you as well as updates on the pups. They most certainly are growing.

thank you! i have missed the forum, but things were quite busy around here....in a good way i'm glad you enjoyed the video of the puppies!! they have grown fast and they are a lot of fun....and still A LOT of mischief!!! They love to play with Willie so much and he has come to really enjoy them, too

Yay for Willie! He has probably learned to "tolerate" them. Actually, he sounds like such a sweetheart, I'm sure he is enjoying their antics as well.

Oliver tolerated Henry until he was neutered. After that happened, they became best friends and now give one another ear schnizzles all the time.

I know you are super busy, but it would be wonderful to see a picture, or better yet, a video, of all three of them together. I do realize that might be a few months in the making.

aw Deb, you are so sweet...and i have missed you and all my DP friends I'm trying to get a good video of all 3 dogs playing...and i will get one within the next week. When the pups see Willie for the first time in the morning...they run over to him to give him kisses and he rolls over to let them crawl all over him!!! It's sooo cute! I've got more extra time now that all our traveling is done until the spring!

You have been missed, and I was nearly ready to send a PM to check on you and the Pups. I'm sure, at the end of the day, when you finally have a quiet moment, you may not necessarily wish to spend it on your computer. Triscuit and Waffles are hilarious and I can't wait to see them with Willie. He is such a good natured boy. ♥

I will forever remember your OH's birthday now, as it is the same day as my "first born", whom I watched walk into College today for the first time. Classes start in January so this was merely an initiation meeting, but it was profound for me.

I digress...this thread is about your lovely babies! They have been my salvation in so many ways since August so I feel rather connected to them, and of course to you as well.

It makes me so happy that my puppies have provided you so much happiness I hope that all is well with you...i spent some time yesterday trying to read past posts to get caught up...but there is A LOT to read I'm going to get a video of the pups "morning greeting" this week and get it up! I work all day today, so i will try and get one tomorrow morning

I'm sure it's hard to see your first born getting ready to go off to college....it's an end to one chapter and a beginning to a new one....and i wish him a happy journey. and, of course, best wishes to you and your entire family!

Vanessa, no pressure! I am the Queen of Procrastination sometimes. It's my way of rebelling against the world, which only backfires.

When you have a moment, we would love to see the "Morning Glory with Willie, starring the Pups". That would be a good name for a Band!
