Finally....the video of the pups morning greeting to Willie...you can just see how much they love him!!


The first one is only a couple seconds long...batteries were dying...but it is the FIRST moment of the day that they pups see Willie...so i thought it was pretty special..

Be still my heart! Waffles and Willie are so sweet together, and Triscuit is adorable as well. It's easy to see that Waffles is the lover boy, and Triscuit is the "let's go, let's go, let's go" type.

Willie is so sweet and gentle with them. Awwwww, he is such a lovely big brother and a beautiful fellow indeed.

I love the way Waffles just wants to kiss Willie good morning while Triscuit is checking out all the action.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video clips I have to tell you, i spend so much time just watching them all play. They have so much fun together. Deb, you're right, Triscuit is our little pistol and very independent. Waffles is a softie, such a loving puppy.

Margie, i agree that Waffles would just love to have Willie pick him up and hug him. He can't seem to get enough of his big brother.

Willie is amazing with the puppies....i couldn't get it on the video, but Willie tends to lay down and roll over to let them play, literally, all over him. He is very gentle with them, it's so sweet.

Funny thing, they all have "doggie toys" but it seems their new favorite is an old sock that they found in my OH's workshop. They have been playing tug of war with it for days....and yesterday Willie was watching them and really looking like he wanted to get in on the action but wasn't quite sure how to jump in....i think because he knows he's so much bigger than the pups and he tends to be so careful when playing with them. So, i kinda jumped in... I grabbed the sock and let Willie put one end in his mouth and gave the other end to a very eager Waffles. The tug was on and it was so cute to watch them play....Willie on his one end and Waffles on the other...Triscuit jumped in to "help" Waffles and it was so funny to watch these two little puppies against one very large Malamute who definately had the capability to pull them across the entire yard, but didn't. He gave little tugs...just enough for a puppy to handle

Vanessa, your description was so perfect, I had a complete visual image of Willie and the Pups playing tug 'o' war with an old sock. Willie is such a gentle soul. Those are such sweet, funny and tender moments. That just melts me on this frosty night.

Margie's comment about Waffles wanting Willie to just hold him is SO sweet! It reminds me of the first time I visited Henry's litter, and the pup they were keeping, was all about kissing his Mummy (while Henry went straight to the "snack bar") the same way that Waffles kisses Willie. ♥

Aw, Deb, you are too sweet for words I'm so glad that you get so much enjoyment from my little clan. I'm thrilled that the three of them get along so well. I just love them so much!

I can envision little Henry bounding over to the "snack bar". How cute!

Vanessa, the pups have grown so much, and are both so beautiful.

I would be lying if I didn't mention how much it hurt my heart to see Willie in those photos, so I know how much it hurts yours. He loved his babies very much, and I'm sure was simply trying to teach them survival, as he knew it instinctively. I don't want to be "Debbie Downer", but to pretend I didn't see him, and think of him would be ridiculous. ♥

Waffie and Triscuit Biscuit are blessed to have each other, and even more so to have you (and your OH). Keep the pictures coming. I did love the pictures that included you! You are a beautiful lady.

Deb, thank you. I think of Willie every day, and in those pics he had just laid down with the pups after some pretty rough playing! They all had a blast...jumping and tugging and rolling each other over. It was so much fun to watch them. And so much fun to see Willie acting like a "pup" himself!

Tracy, i simply LOVE those spotty legs, too!! It's so funny how they can look so different yet are from the same litter!

i took these pics the day before we left for our getaway on Sunday....the timestamp on the camera is wrong....when we change the batteries it resets to a random date and i didn't change it....

anyway...Waffles and our trouble maker with a capital "T"...playing outside....

Deb, my sister has been so busy with the kids. She's now expecting her FIFTH in December! She loves being a mom, though and i'm happy for her and her husband. Triscuit is fitting in well, so i'm happy about that...but, i was missing him today as i was looking through his old pics. Sometimes, i wonder if Waffles remembers him or thinks about him. He's gotten big and he's so sweet and so full of personality. Personality that i don't think would have shone through had i kept Triscuit. I'm going to have to get some new pics up soon so everyone can see my cute little boy
