I had a great day. Mike and I went for lunch and then went Christmas shopping. We were going to go to an exhibit at the museum later in the evening, but we fell asleep watching a movie instead.


And then...at like 9pm when we were driving home from picking up a cake (it's Mike's dad's birthday too).....he proposed. Yep, in the moving vehicle. Ha! No romantic proposal for me but that suits me just fine.

It's not Facebook news yet, so for those I have on there please shhhh for now

It IS on Facebook now, I just needed to be able to tell those who needed to know first before the cat got out of the bag (that is an odd saying, and I have a leary feeling that it's history lies in drowing cats in bags....aaaaaaaanyway).

Mike and I have been looking things up like crazy so far, and are pretty sure the date will be February 23, 2013. We need to make sure we have a venue, though, but I don't suspect it will be a problem.

Also, we're having it in BC! My mom is so thrilled, she actually cried when I told her that (and we're not an emotional family).

As more details come together, I may start a thread about it, heaven knows I'm going to want to talk about it! Haha.

I'm flying home to BC tonight, and I can't wait to see my family and friends there. I dont' know how often I will get on here, but hopefully more than usual because there is a proper internet connection at my parent's house.

No, Cel there isn't. I am not quite sure how I'll manage mine except that my son Elliot will help me. From what I remember, if people on here wanted to FB one another, they would exchange information through a PM. Most people won't post something like that on a Forum as open as this one.
